Jack's POV

I stared at the girl in front of me who is currently taking her sixth shot of the strongest whiskey we have. She may seem clueless about what she's doing, but her alcohol tolerance is pretty impressive.

Normally I would try and make a move on this girl right now, since she's pretty drunk and all. But there's something about her that seems to nullify my vibe.

Like how she's wearing a really bright yellow dress with polka dot patterns, thick-framed eyeglasses and braces. Why does this seem all familiar? Betty La Fea much?

I'm not saying that she's ugly, she's actually the opposite. Underneath those glasses are a lovely pair of hazel eyes, her curly brown hair touching her shoulders, and her really big and bright smile...

She's beautiful, but she's weird. Like, really really weird.

"Jack Jack Jacky! Jickity jackity Jack" The girl in front of me singed, I furrowed my eyebrows, man she's really weird. She has been randomly singing ever since her third shot.

"Don't tell me you're gonna order another shot of that devil, Millie. You're drunk as a skunk." I chuckled, aside from singing, she's been very talkative, blurting out unsolicited information about her life. She even told me that she caught her boss having sex in the office. What the fuck was that all about?

"Well I'm telling you now, and you ain't gonna stop me~" she paused, "I have nothing to lose anyway, Jacky." And then she began laughing like a fucking retard. Looks like I'm gonna have another drunk ass in the apartment tonight.

"Sorry, I can't hide my crazy." Then began rolling her eyes back and forth like that possessed little boy from that television series.

"I don't think you're trying that hard." I shook my head as I poured the drink in front of her.

Before I gave her the shot of Spirytus, I gave her a warning look. "This will be your last, okay? If you insist on taking another drink, I'll never let you crash on my place tonight and leave your sorry ass on the streets. Got it?"

She looked at me with her hazy hazel eyes and nodded furiously. After taking the shot, she reached over the counter and grabbed my arm, I shot her a questioning look and smirked, "Yeah you're welcome, and yes, I know I'm hot."

"What? No! But seriously Jack, thank you for being a kind stranger to me. I owe you big time."

This girl... is really something. She didn't even think twice when I offered her a place to stay. What if she didn't stumble into this place? What if she found herself in a dreadful situation instead? She's so gullible it makes me wonder how she even got herself a job before.

"It's no big deal. We're actually looking for a new roommate since our friend left six months ago. But let's not tackle that right now since you probably won't remember anything tomorrow." I laughed, she seems knocked out already as she planted her face on the table.

I went out of the bar station and placed Millie out of the stool. I positioned her to the nearest booth so she could sit comfortably.

"Hey Jacky, when are you taking me home?" She asked. I still need to wait for my replacement since this pub technically operates 24/7. Don't even ask why. Hint: people like Millie.

"Just a couple of minutes and we're out of here." I smiled at her reassuringly as she rests her head on the table.

"I'm just gonna take a nap." Now, how am I gonna bring her home? She's a lot like someone I know. I sighed, and I noticed that it's already 12 midnight. "Happy new year, Millie!"

What a way to start the new year.

Millie's POV

I woke up to a throbbing pain in my head. When I opened my eyes, my vision's still blurry so I squinted for a clearer view.

"She's finally awake" A deep voice said.

My eyes widened at the sight of boys surrounding the bed that I was laying on. It's as if I'm Snow White and they're the dwarfs, except, there were only three of them.

"Wha-?!" I was about to say something when someone interrupted.

"Hey Millie, remember me from last night?" The shortest boy asked.

"Jack!" I grinned, but suddenly frowned when I realize that I don't even remember how I got here. "What happened last night?"

He then explained that he had to carry me all the way here with the help of his co-worker. Apparently, the apartment was just above the pub, which made the job easier. He also told me how much alcohol I had last night. I never thought that I'd be able to take in so much. Now I feel embarrassed.

"I'm so so so sorry for the inconvenience! I seriously never drank before. I didn't know it was gonna be this bad." I sighed as I massaged my temples. I need my glasses.

"Also, have you seen my glasses?" And as if on cue, one of the boys went out of the room and brought my glasses back with him. And he's now shirtless. Bloody hell.

"Here ya go, girly." The shirtless guy said as handed me the glasses. "Now you can see me perfectly." He smirked.

"You're creeping me out, you know." I said and then I looked over to Jack, "Is he always like this?"

Jack laughed as if it's the most normal thing in the world. "Yeah, Jaeden likes taking his shirt off. He says that he likes to "flaunt" his hardwork, A.K.A. his abs." He replied as he shook his head.

"I'm pretty sure that you're still hungover, so we'll just leave you here to rest. I left some medicine and water on the night stand. That should help. And also, you can stay here as long as you need." Jack smiled reassuringly.

"Uh-huh. We still need to talk about that, Jack." Jaeden said abruptly.

And they all went out of the room before I can even thank them. What's gonna happen now?

Jack's POV

"You're not seriously adopting her, are you Jack?!" Jaeden asked as he furiously ruffled his hair.

"Yeah, I mean, she's not like Jellybean, Jack. She's not just a cat. She's an actual human being, a girl, for heaven's sake!" Noah exclaimed. He's ALWAYS like this when it comes to girls.

"Noah, we've been together for god knows how long already, and I still can't figure out why you're freaking out when it comes to girls." I said, as I motioned them to the living room so Millie won't hear us.

"You know I like girls, Jack. But I'm with Noah on this one. We can't just let her stay here. How can we walk around naked and let ourselves free if she's here?"

"Okay, Jaeden. First of all, you're the only one who's walking here naked. And you've really got to stop doing that, man. Not cool." I sighed, and then, an idea came across my mind.

"Maybe we can let her stay for-" Noah said as I cut him off.

"Hey I have an idea! Why don't we just let her take the vacant room? It's been six months now since the dickhead left. And it's just the three of us paying for an apartment for four persons. It's honestly a drag for me to budget these past few months..."

"I agree" Noah said. "If anyone's struggling financially, it would seriously be me. I'm still on my internship, you know." He sighed as he turned to look at Jaeden. "It's just you now, bud. What to do say?"

"Yeah, shall we invite her to be our roommate?" I asked Jaeden.

Before he even replied, Millie got out of the room and yelled, "Oh my God, yes, yes!! Please make me your roommate!!"

New year, new roommate?
