This one's a bit short, sorry!
You would never admit it out loud, but you liked your babysitters more than your real parents. You and your whole family were human, but your mother had hired two dog monsters to babysit you regularly whenever she and your father were out of the house, which was quite often.
So of course you were delighted when you heard that your parents would be out of town for three days, which meant three whole days of being with your awesome babysitters!
As soon as your human parents left, you were lifted up into the air by Dogamy. He whirled you around while Dogaressa giggled in amusement.
"Are you ready for the best three days of your life?" Dogamy asked.
"Yeah!"
He and Dogaressa howled gleefully, and you mimicked them. The next two days were spent playing games, games, and more games. Mostly fetch and Run Around In Circles For No Reason.
On the last day, you were sitting in the living room playing with some toys while your canine caretakers made you lunch in the kitchen. You were startled by a loud thud at the front door.
With another thud, the door caved in, and an intimidating masked monster stomped in. They looked like a lion with a fox tail, and they didn't look very friendly.
The dogs rushed in to see what was going on, and they immediately started growling at the stranger.
"Robber!" Dogaressa barked, summoning an axe.
Dogamy ushered you to stand behind him as he got out his own axe.
The intruder didn't seem afraid of them at all. Their huge paws lit up with a magical glow...
You didn't see the rest, since you ran to your room and hid under your bed. You heard a lot of barking and crashing for a few minutes before everything went quiet.
Soon you heard someone come into your room. You curled up into a scared little ball and hoped it wasn't the robber guy.
"(Y/N)? Are you in here?" Asked the worried voice of Dogamy. You scrambled out from under your bed and went to hug him. (But since you were small you only succeeded in hugging his legs)
"The bad guy is gone," he reassured you. "He managed to steal some stuff, but he's gone now."
"Is Dogaressa okay?" You asked, tearing up.
"She got hit a few times, but she'll be fine. Come on, let's get back to making lunch."
When your parents got back, the dogi explained what happened. Your parents were so grateful that they gave them a raise and had them become your permanent babysitters, meaning they would be the first choice when you had to stay home and needed someone to watch you.
For the next month, you bragged to your friends at school about how you had the best babysitters ever. Sometimes you caught yourself wishing they were your parents instead.
Ironically, that came true in a grim way when your real mom and dad were killed in a car accident. You didn't really feel sad, though, since they barely ever did anything for you and were hardly around in the first place.
The dogi took you in, though, and you were happy to have them as your new family. They were glad to have you too.
You all lived hap-pawly ever after.
