Your word is like a knife

Today is the big day for the K-Pop artist because it's when MAMA 2016 will be held in Hongkong. A big group such as EXO, BTS, TWICE, IOI, Zico and others invite to the event to perform and bring home the award.
I sigh looking at the outside of the car feeling nervous all of sudden. This is the 2nd time we will be performing at MAMA. Last year we won Best New Female Artist at MAMA and we were so happy. I got nervous because beside we will perform in front of thousand fans, i also will meet him. The guy who i tried to avoid. Jimin, from BTS. We got close since our trainee days because JYP and BigHit trainee always training together. Our boss are a close friend and our building is close.
"Jeongyeon-ah wake up. You looked lost from the hotel. What's wrong?" Jihyo asked feeling worried about me. I put a smile and shaking my head. I looked at my phone which i hold and seeing there's a notification on my instagram. Yes, i have an instagram account. It's a private tho. Fans and company didn't know that i have instagram. Only the members and some of my friends.

Oh he's update his instagram. Damn why he have to be sexy? Yah Yoo Jeongyeon, can you not??
I sigh. finally we arrive at the venue. We get out of the van and walk to our waiting room. We bumped with BTS at the hall and all of us bowing to each other. He looked at me smile, and i nodded looking down past him.
We enter the waiting room and start touch up our make-up. My phone ring and i got a message and saw it from him.

Are you avoiding me?

Should i reply him? He must be over thinking now.

No. I'm not.

Yes, you are. You didn't smile back.

I sigh and put my phone back to the bag. The staff called us to get ready for the red carpet. We stand up and walked to our van for the red carpet. We arrive the red carpet and wave to our fans and peoples who came. We pose for the camera too and after we finished, we back to our waiting room. I sat at the chair looking at the mirror and playing with my phone.
"Annyeonghaseyo." Someone knock on the door and when i looked at it, there he is standing with his gray suit looking handsome as ever.
"Oh Jiminie." Nayeon unnie wave at him and he smile.
"I wanna see Jeongyeon." He said and all the members looked at me.
"Ah we will just outside." Nayeon unnie said and all the members left the room.
He come closer to me and standing in front of me, leaning into the dresser.
"Are you ok?" He asked. I nodded my head feeling my heart beat fast. "Really?" He asked again didn't believe my word.
"Yes i'm fine." I try to look at him but look away after seeing him staring at me with his intense eyes.
"Liar." He said moving my chair so i look at him.
"Then don't believe it." I said rolling my eyes.
"Yah, how many times i tell you to not rolling your eyes at me?" He pout and cross his arm. I smile looking at him and he smile stroking my hair.
"Yah, don't ruin my hair!"
"Finally you smile again." He said. "Do you have a bad day?" He asked showing his concern, once again.
"I'm just tired." I said.
"Come here." He open his arms and pulled me into his embrace. "You need to cheer up. The show will start soon." He whispers into my ear and pat my head.
"Oppa. Can i ask you something?" I felt him tense. He doesn't feel used to me calling him oppa. I call him oppa when we have a serious talk. That's why he know something is up.
"What is it?" He felt relax again. I pulled my head from his chest and look at him.
"What are we?" I asked. He wide his eyes and i know he must be surprised of my question.
"W-We? We are b-best friend. You are my best friend. Yeah best friend forever." He smile and that time my heart feel hurt. Yeah we are only best friend. I smile at him, showing him that what he said didn't affect me.
"Yeah best friend." I smile then look away from him. "Let's go. The show will starting soon." I grab him and open the door. The members are waiting the outside. I took off his hand and smile to my members. He bow to the members and left to find his members. I sigh and Nayeon unnie look at me curious. I mouthed her "nothing" and she smile nodding her head.

The show start and everyone performs and receives their awards. We got Best Female Group Award and perform our song Cheer Up and TT. Then i watched him perform with his members. As usual he always give his best performance. I clapped when him and his members finished the performance. The show will coming to end, and soon will announce the big prize of the awards which is Song of The Year, Album of The Year and Artist of The Year.
Cha Seungwoon sunbaenim will announce the big prize Song of The Year. We sit and waiting for him to announce the winner while he teased the audience a little. Me and everyone are laughing because of him.
"Song of The Year Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016 goes to........ TWICE."
I put my hand to my mouth didn't believe what i heard. We? We won? Song of The Year? Oh my god. We stand and walk to the main stage while still shock over the fact that we won this. I looked at him and he gives a smile and congratulate us while looking at me. I try to not smile knowing many camera and eyes are focus on us. We received the trophy and give a speech. I cannot hold it anymore so i cried. We feel like we still not deserve this big awards. We promise to always be humble and working hard to give back what our fans do for us.
After finished with the speech, we come down from the stage and next will be announce for Artist of The Year.
"Artist of The Year Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016 goes to...... BTS."
I clapped and jumped feeling proud of him. Remembered All the hard work he put since the trainee days until he debuts, finally he become big. His dreams are coming true.
The awards show finished and all the artist left the venue.
My phone ring and i saw it's from him. I pick up the call and before i said hello, he already beat me to talk first.
"Congraaaaaaaats." I smile still feeling happy and i know he is smiling right now too.
"Thank you. Congrats to you too." I said walking out from the venue. I see some fans wave at us and i wave back at them. We need to go to airport right away because we have a schedule tomorrow.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"I'm in the van. On the way to airport. You?"
"Same. We will have the same flight. I asked my manager so we sit next to each other at the plane." He said. I widen my eyes can't belive it.
"This kid." I whisper to my self knowing he always makes anything surprising for me.
"What?" He asked.
"Oh nothing. So we will sit next to each other? You don't worry?" I asked.
"No. Why? It's not like we are dating." He said.
Ouch that's hurt.
"I know." I said. We got silent after that. No one talking.
"See u on the plane." I hung up. Feeling tired i try to close my eyes and take a nap a little.
