It was a normal day for me, since it was Sunday. Next week will be the day for the Graduation Ball. We finally succeeded on our defense held last friday. That was really a difficult week I've experienced. Katy called me earlier that we should go refresh our mind and start preparing for the Graduation ball. She said she'll be here any minute from now since her condo was just two doors away from my condo unit.
*ding dong*
That might be katy. I rushed to the door to welcome katy but then I was surprised when I saw Mark outside my unit. I stepped back in surprise making him smirk. When I finally recovered, I asked him directly
"Why are you here?" I asked him, looking directly at his eyes, making an eye contact but broke it since I'm not used to it.
"I just missed my number one fan" He said, he's the one I'm talking about. My past crush!
"What the fuck did you just said? I'm not your fan anymore! Could you please get out here?!" I hissed, pushing him away but he got hold of my wrist making me stop from pushing him.
"Let go of me! Damn it!" I said trying to let go but then he's too strong. Fuck! Katy where are you!
"Why? Why do you stopped? Why are you avoiding me? I'm trying to get contact with you when I realized there's no more sign of you following me around. I missed it." he said softly, making me melt. But dang, get hold of yourself wendy! He hurt you!
"I just realized that you're not worth my time anymore! It's tiring! Everything is tiring! I'm tired of following you around when you really don't care! I'm tired of looking fool when everyone sees me following wherever you are! And I'm tired that I'm following a guy who doesn't give a shit of me!" I shouted him, but then he just chuckles at me. How dare he!
"Who said I don't give a shit on you? Who said I don't notice you? And who the fuck said that I don't want you being around? I like everything you're doing for me, Wendy" he said as he tried to cupped my face with his palms but I avoid it, he got shocked.
"Stop this nonsense, Mark Tuan, I'm over you" I said and let go of my hand
"Wendy!" I hear Katy shouted but then got shocked when he saw Mark outside the door, still in shock.
"What took you so fucking long?! Get inside!" I said and she just rushed inside still confused on what's happeninig.
"You better go now, Mark" I said coldly and attempting to lock the door when he stopped it. I looked at him,
"What?" I said blankly.
"Are you really over me? How? What happened?" I can see sadness in his eyes but I just shrugged it off.
"Know it for yourself" I finally said and locked the door. I placed my hand on my heart that's been beating harshly.
"What.Is.That" Katy finally spoke up,
"Nothing, I'm not in the mood right now to tell it. Could we just go now?" I said impatiently. She nodded then checked outside if there is still Mark and thank God he's not there anymore.
"Clear! Let's go now! They're waiting for us! Oh shit, I mean-- aish! Let's just hurry!" She started fighting herself, wait what? They're? Who?
We decided to use my car and she just leads the way. I'm too clueless where we're going when she said to stop in a bar. Velvet bar. I didn't know about this bar huh? Is this new?
"Is this a new bar?" I asked Katy, she just nodded, she holds my wrist and guided me inside, It was really dark I swear!
"Don't be mad at me.." Katy whispered in my ears when she puts a blindfold in me eyes, I cursed.
"Katy!" I hissed, but then she guided me into somewhere, and when she took off the blindfold. I left out speechless and in an awe.
"Happy Birthday, Seungwan!" a group of girls including katy greeted me. Wait what? What is the date today, anyways? Ferbruary 21? Oh fuck!
"Sorry I know you don't want celebrating it, but a litle won't be bad isn't?" Katy said at me worried. I was surprised! Together with us is our Korean friends, Irene, Seulgi and even Katy's sister is here, Joy. I smiled at her assuring that it was fine.
"Thank you" I said whole-heartedly.
