I hum along to Drakes Own It, while looking out the window and watching the multiple buildings pass.

"You excited?!" I hear my mom ask.

"Hm....I guess"

"What do you mean? College is going to be one of the funnest times of your life." she says slightly concered.

"Thats what you said to me in middle school abour highschool, and clearly that was a lie" I say trying to keep a steady voice.

"Look I'm sorry about-"

"Mom please, its really not your fault."

"Ok. I was just worried pumpkin"

"Worried?About what?" I say pulling out my left ear bud.

"I'm guessing your father never brought it up to you" she says her face dropping.

"Spill all" I demand.

"Um, me and your father, decided it would be cool if we uh, had another baby?" she says making it sound more like a question then a statement.

I burst out laughing. I laugh so hard I start to cry.

When I glance up shes turning her head toward the road then too me with hurt in her eyes.

"Oh mom, I'm so sorry! I don't know what just happened there. Its just the fact that you guys, are well, not the youngest people, I mean your not old but I don't typically hear of fourty seven year olds having babies" I say in all seriousness.

"No, your right it is a silly idea," she says attemping to smile but failing.

"Its just that since you and your sister are moving out, I just thought, you know..."

"No mom, its your choice, I honestly would mind having another sister or a baby brother" I shrug my shoulders, giving her a smile.

Relief washes over her.

"Good" she speaks "I thought you wouldn't like that very much.

About two hours later we are here. My new home. My new life.

"Here we are" my mother says, her voice laced with sadness and grief. I look over to her and watch as her eyes slowly begin to water.

"Mommy, don't cry" I say my eyes, betraying me as tears arise. I rub up and down her arm trying to comfort her as tears fall from her eyes.

"Come on" she finally says, finding a avalible spot on the curb.

"We have to take out your stuff" she says looking my way and attemping to smile but failing.

The doors make a 'click' noise signaling the doors are unlocked. I open the door quickly and stretch my arms and legs, suprising myself with the unusual sound I made.

"Mom I got this side" I tell my mom, while pulling multiple duffel bags out of the backseat.

"Ok, honey" I hear her sniffle from the bag of the car. On move in day in college, you are allowed to park your car right along the curb in the front of the school, so you can get your bags there without having to make multiple trips back and forth to your car.

Damn, what the hell is in this bag? I think to myself as I struggle with one bag in particular.

Phew I think as I finally get the bag up on a rolly duffel so it is easier to bring upstairs to my dorm.

"Alright looks as if we are all done!" my mom exclaims happily as she helps me put the last of my bags in my dorm room.

"Aw, my little pooker bear, come here baby" my mom says instantly breaks down sobbing. I swear, this lady is bipolar.
