Gone But Never Forgotten

Chapter One

             It all started with a baby... or me, I was born with a diseases that is slowly killing me. My birth parents gave me up for adoption when I was 3 mouths because of my current condition, but my adoptive parents gave me all the love and care in return. I was hospitalized at the age of 4 I've been here ever sense then, I feel worthless at the time because I ended up unintentionally murdering the love of my life.

           I woke up to the sounds of the crickets chirping out side, I slide out of bed stretching and walking out of my hospital room, I walk around those empty halls in tell I came upon an open door I peeked in side out of curiosity, "hello?" I herd some shuffling, then a shape of a kids body I jumped "u-um are you okay" she was staring out the window, she opened the window and her long hair flew off and flew to the floor, she turned around "What... did you think I was beautiful like you?" I picked it up and went closer to her "you are beautiful in every single way you don't need a wig to think your pretty" then I placed the wig in her hands "you are gorgeous the way you are" I smiled when we herd a door open and shut then running, when I bay swung open the door and said " Annabell are you... okay?" he was bent over panting but when he saw me he stood up straight and smiled and stuck out his hand for me to shake it "Hi I'm Neil"  I shook his hand, "I'm Nya" he smiled as we sat down trying to put the little girl asleep "So why are you here" "oh um I was born with to much fluid in my lungs they say I have no over a year to live" I smile at her sleeping face, when I felt a wave of pain fly over me and I began to cough, I stood up and walked out, Doctor.... Doctor!!, I didn't get very far before blacking out, when I regained a bit of my consciousness I felt warm hands carrying me and a voice saying "Nya You'll be okay" then I blacked out again, when I woke up I herd soft snoring in a seat next to me when I looked up I saw Niel sleeping, I began to tear up when I stood up and shook him awake "Niel.... niel..." he woke up "hub oh Nya your okay..... why are you crying!?" I laid my head on his shoulder and started crying harder "he wrapped his arms around me "Please don't cry" we herd something fall onto the floor, when we looked up it was his Annabell (his sister) she ran he wanted to run after her but I grabbed onto his arm and said "please don't go my family hasn't come to visit me in Months" he hugged me again "Its okay I'll come visit you every day", after he left I went to his sisters room and sat in the door way "Hay..." "what do you want?" "why are you so upset?" "you know my brother has a girlfriend" I flinched "o-oh I see well were just friends" she came closer and laid her head on my lap I petted her hair "you know I've been here for 2 years and everyday my big brother would come visit me he'd bring his girlfriend some times" she smiled "I lobe my brother but I wish he would brake up with her" she fell asleep after that last sentence "Its okay Annabell" I stood up and went back to my room I looked out the window on that dark night "Momma... will you ever come for me? the next day niel came and spent half the day with his sister and when it got later I herd a knock on my door, I turn my head to look at the door "Come in" niel came in and I smiled "Hay Nya" he sat on the bed "So how do you feel about going out with me tomorrow?" I looked at him "i can't leave the hospital sorry" he chuckled "no I talked to your doctor he said you should go out for a day to see some friends and family" I smiled "Sounds Really fun" he smiled when he got a phone call "Oh be right back Nya" he left the room I stood up and went to the door to hear his conversation "Hay Lily... oh I see... no ya its okay I just want you to be happy... ya bye..." he hung up his phone and the expression on his face made my heart throb I quickly laid back down, he walked in smiling like nothing happens "Anyways" he sat down and slowly his smile turned in to a frown and tears began to roll down his cheeks, Wow I never new a boy could cry, I sat up and hugged him "what happened?" "she...she ...left me..." I kissed his forehead "you'll find someone who loves you as much as you loved her" he cried in my arms for a few minutes then we continued are usual conversation...
