Chapter 6-Only half the truth and a lonely Jake

The next couple weeks flew by in the same pattern. I'd wake up, go to school with Mason, eat with the guys since Jared and Stacey were never there, play guitar in spare, go home with Mason, hang out at my house or Mason's, homework, and fall asleep in Mason's arms.

So pretty much- a lot of Mason. But I couldn't help it. Whenever we weren't together there was this pull always making me want to be with him. Even in class the pull would be still be there, even though we sat beside each other, The only thing that makes it go away is when he'd put his hand on my leg, or hold my hand under the desk. I'm almost certain he feels it too because he always fidgets and sighs when it gets stronger.

I also have a feeling he knows what it is.

Since it's the weekend, Mom took Tommy with her to visit our Aunt Kelly, so I get the house alone. Mason leaves at 9 saying he has some stuff to do but he'll be back with food for us at noon, but of course as soon as he leaves I fall back asleep.

"Demi...come on Angel," I feel someone petting my head tying to wake me up. "Time to get up." I open one eye and see Mason sitting on the edge of my bed.

"What time is it?" I sit up and move over so he can sit beside me.

"Almost 1 in the afternoon. Aren't you supposed to be the morning person?" He takes out a burger from the McDonald's bag he has with him and hands me the fries. "Here I brought you wake up food."

"Mmm have I ever told you how awesome you are?" I lean my head on his shoulder and start eating. I've always loved Mickey D's fries, never caring how unhealthy it was.

He chuckles, "No but don't worry, I'm only this awesome when I'm with you."

"Well good I wouldn't want to share your awesomeness." I smile and kiss his cheek. "But how'd you know I fell back asleep?"

"You didn't reply when I sent you a message after I left."

"Oh, oops." He laughs and finishes his burger while I check my phone for any other messages.

Turns out I have 5 unread messages,

Bad Boy Mase: what are you hungry for?

Momma Bear: ran out of bread, milk and grapes-please get some? luv u

Jared-best BFF ever!: you with Mase? dont know where he went...

Sir Jake the single ;): chill about Jared k? ill distract him

Lil' sis Stacey: havnt seen you in FOREVER! tell Mason to stop hogging you

I text Stacey, Jake and Jared back,

sent: slept in oops! on my way to Jared's-hang out there?

then text mom,

sent: will do! tell aunt k i say hey! Luvs and hugs

"Looks like it's going to be a busy weekend." I sigh and get out of bed. "I'm gonna change then we're going to your house."

"Why my house?" He looks confused as he starts playing with my radio.

"Stacey wants to see me plus Jared keeps asking me where you are all the time, why don't you just tell him you're with me?"

"He knows I'm always with you." he groans and flops down on my bed. "He's just nosy."

I take a shower and change into my favourite bright blue shorts, a black singlet and Mason's gray hoodie. I come out of my bathroom and hear Mason talking on his phone out on the balcony.
