3rd POV/

He just stared at her and was searching for something. He was fighting his mind and trying to find the love he once felt for her. He then let her go and she fell to the floor. He knelt down to her and just looked at her.

"What did you do Bucky?" He then turned towards a breathless Steve.

He said nothing he just began to fight Steve again, and Steve fought back.

"Bucky I'm not going to fight you. . . .* breathes heavily* Bucky look at her. Look at her." Bucky stopped midway to punch Steve and looked at Elani then down still having his fist near Steve's face
"She's dying." Despair filled Bucky's eyes.

"You can still save her." Steve struggled to say due to him having a fat lip.

His face then straightened out.

"My mission is to kill not save."

"Well we all said we'd be here till the end of the line Buck. We said we'd be together so let's do it. . . . finish your mission." Steve said softly before letting his head fall back Bucky looked at Elani then at Steve. He took his gun out and pointed his gun at Elani. His eyes glossed over and it was then that he realized he couldn't kill either of them. Steve was his best friend and Elani Elani was the love of his life, his girl, his doll, his lady, his everything, and so he stood up and helped Steve to where Elani was. Once they were both together and Steve had her with him. Bucky shot the glass beneath them and they fell through into the water. In that moment everything went slow motion for both of them. As they fell Steve looked through to Bucky, and Bucky saw his best friend and the girl he loved fall to the water.

The plane then crashed into the water and Bucky found his way to both of them quickly. Once they were both ashore he just admired Elani's beauty. He hadn't seen that face in so long. Yes it was bruised and bleeding slightly, but that didn't't take away her beauty. He lifted his arm to graze her cheek, but saw it had been his metal arm and lowered it. He didn't want to hurt her. She seemed so fragile laying there on the rocks, so he looked at her one last time and then walked away.
