Chapter 16.5

Before I knew it, time slipped by and I lost count of the number of drinks I consumed. Ian having no trouble corrupting me more and at the moment, I didn't care either. My brother and Zander having gone back to the house as my brother had gotten a bit wasted already. Ian told them as they were leaving that he'd look out for me and take me home when I was ready.

One of the girls from my Theory of Magic class came skipping over to me as I sat chatting with a few friends I had that were still here during the party. "Sorry guys, but I must steal Hope for a bit of fun."

I looked at her confused as she pulled me off the counter I had been sitting on with everyone. The kitchen counters were wiped clean already of all the food that had previously stacked high at the start of the party. It wasn't to say that we didn't have to put the stuff that was left in a trash bag so we could sit on the counter.

She pushed her way into a gathering area up the stairs on the second floor of the house. Without even letting me ask what she was doing, she placed my hand on the bottle that sat in the center of a table and made me spin it.

I frowned at her as it spun on its own. "What are you doing?"

A squeal came out as everyone around us turned to stare at her like she'd gone crazy just as I did. After a soft shake of my head, me eyes followed the direction that the bottle pointed to and frowned as it pointed right at Ian. He had his back to the table before talking to a friend and now he frowned too seeing what I did.

"What...?" My words were cut off as she yanked me down the hall and shoved me into a room. My body stumbling a bit when she did. A moment later, Ian was pushed into the room by one of the guys that he had been talking to before. A goofy smile on the guy's face.

Her smile kind of scared me with how big it was. How mischievous and devilish she looked as she stood just outside the door. "Now you two have fifteen minutes to make out. Neither of you will be able to leave this room until you kiss." She pulled a piece of paper till it snapped and closed the door quickly.

Ian went to the door and tried it. "No she didn't." He tried the window. Nope, nothing was budging.

I blushed knowing that she just spelled the room and only when the conditions are met, could we leave the room. My stomach filling with those butterflies again. Though there was a ton more than there were months ago when we met again.

Ian sighed as he sat down on the bed that was in the room. "We're stuck in here."

Walking over to his, I got him to look up at me by touching the side of his face. "Maybe we should just kiss as that's what she said would be how the spell she just cast would dissolve."

He shook his head lightly. "We really don't have to. There could have been another condition besides kissing. Maybe it was time. The fifteen minutes that she said."

"You don't want to kiss me?" My eyes turning down a bit.

"Yes, but that doesn't matter. We're a bit too tipsy to really kiss right." He touched my curls. His eyes looking over my shimmering magic tattoos.

Caressing his cheek and jaw, I leaned down toward him. Bringing my face closer to his. "Then kissing seems the easiest way to meat this spell's needs." I slanted my lips over his making him gasp, but quickly he joined me. A tingle slipping down my skin and then deeper. So deeper than I'd ever felt a tingle sink.

We pulled back for a second, but then we crashed into each other for another more intense kiss. His arms wrapping around me and pulling me closer. I shifted till I was kneeling on the edge of the bed which had me on his lap too. My legs on either side of his waist.
