Chapter 1: A New Start...

Hi, I'm Melissa... I'm a senior now in high school. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Luke. We have been going out for a year now.

Life has been great but summer is over and school starts in three hours. Ah my life sucks. I sit up in my bed and turn off my alarm. I head to the bathroom and I start to get ready for another painful year of my life.

- 2:30h later -

"Bye mom see you after school" I say kissing her cheek.

"Bye sweetie, have a nice day on your first day" she responded smiling.

With that I leave the house and start walking to school. I never liked taking the bus. It was always so noisy and crowded. But anyways I didnt live far from school so I just decide to walk. After a couple of minutes I find myself in front of the schools entrance. I sighed and head inside. I find my locker and check my schedule. I groan as I had english. I feel arms wrap themself around my waist. I turn my head and see Luke. I feel butterflies in my stomach everytime I see him. I give him a quick peck on the lips.

"Hey Lukey" I say in a baby voice, teasing him.

"Hey babe" he says glaring at me playfully.

I grab my english stuff and close my locker.

"Sorry Luke but I have to go to class. See you at lunch?" I say upset having to leave him.

"Aww bye Melsa"

Melsa was this nickname he gave me and he says it everytime hes upset. I start heading to class. I sit in the back row. I'm not that popular, I just have a couple of friends and stuff. But as class started none of my friends were in my class. I sigh thinking, this is gonna be a long semester....

After 10 or 20 minutes in class theres a knock on the door. So far its my only highlight of the day. My stupid boring teacher M. Kayden went to go open the door. It revealed a beautiful blonde girl. I didnt recognize her so she must be new.

"Ah yes, class we have a new student, Karly" he says not sounding so excited.

I looked to my left and noticed the desk was empty. Immediately, I knew he was gonna assign her to that desk.

"Karly you can go sit in the back row next to Melissa. Melissa put your hand up please?" He asked trying to sound nice.

I lift up my hand indicating that I'm Melissa. Karly came walking to me and sat in the desk next to me. She looked so beautiful, she had these beautiful blue eyes that I could get lost in.

"Um hi I'm Karly, well you already know that" she said making me snap out of my toughts. She put her hand out to shake mine. She flashed me a smile, showing her teeth. She had dimples and it made her look even more gorgeous.

"Oh hi I'm Melissa, nice to meet you Karly" I shook her hand and I felt butterflies in my stomach as our hands touched. I gave her a smile.

For the rest of the class I just looked at her once in a while. Not even paying attention. I think she noticed but I'm not sure. It was finaly the end of class. I stood up and she was getting ready to leave. I placed myself in front of her smiling.

"If you want I can help you out around the school. Showing you your next class?" I asked. I simply couldnt stop smiling.

She looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes. Slightly blushing but she tried to hide it. It was pretty funny.

"Yeah sure that would be great" she answered sounding pretty happy. She flashed another smile and I felt my knees getting weak. That smile could probably make anyones day way better.

She finaly got all of her stuff ready and I asked for her schedule. She handed me her schedule and our hands almost touched. I noticed that she had Physics. I looked at my schedule and so did I. We were in almost all of the same class.

"Well looks like we both have Physics. Here follow me, I will show you where it is" I said. she nodded and followed me.

We arrive at our next class and she sat next to me. I looked at her and she looked back at me looking slightly upset.

"Oh sorry if you want me to move I can.I tough we could pro-.." She kept talking and she sounded upset and worried.

I cut her off "Karly... Its ok you can sit next to me" I said looking at her smiling like crazy. I didnt want her to leave. She made me feel something that I never quite felt with my other boyfriends. No no no.... I push those toughts away. I couldnt be a lesbian. I love Luke. I'm very happy and straight. Anyways even if I was a lesbian, Karly would never like me...

"Thanks Melissa... By the way you look very pretty today" she said turning her head away like she was trying to hide something.'

For a minute I tried to make sure she really said that... Did she just call me pretty? No that cant be, I just imagined it. I felt my heart beating faster. Next thing I knew I said "Wow... Thanks. So do you" I answered sounding a bit nervous. She placed her hand over mine and looked up in my eyes. Her beautiful blue eyes staring at my brown eyes. As our hands touched I felt like electricty was going through my body.

"Why so nervous?" She asked smiling, showing her dimples.

My knees felt even more weak. Before I could answer her, class started. She immediately let go of my hand. This girl is like fucking with my head... I looked at her in the corner of my eye. I noticed that she was looking at me smiling. I noticed her dimples once again and I couldnt stop staring. I felt a blush creep onto my face. This girl was making me go crazy...
