Jeongguk walked into the cafteria overflowing with people, eyes immediately scanning the folk of starving teenagers for him.
It's somehow like a routine, every single day for the past three to four months whenever he is on school property he longs for his presence.
Everytime he walks into the hallways he instantly looks for him.
Everytime he walks into art class, he looks for him.
Every single time he walks into the cafteria during lunch,he looks for him. Just like now.
And a party is no different he ransacks the house full of drunkards for Him and if he's unluckily not there he saunters out the door, leaving his group of friends behind.
He slightly cocked his head up, panicking when he doesn't see him seated at his regular table with the rest of the football team. Jeongguk arrived late to school this morning. Ms.jeon, his mom ( a trainee chief) who insisted he had to have two bowls of her not-so-tasty soybean soup before leaving at fault. So, he and the boy he yearns for weren't able to lock gazes with eachother near their locker like their customary morning.
He sighed in relief when he spotted him near the longline of people waiting to recieve their food from the lunch lady. The latter spinned around just in time for their eyes to meet. The overfamiliar goosebumps creept up jeongguk's skin as both their eyes sparkled with lust, staring to into each other's eyes like there's no tomorrow.
Jeongguk's heartbeat increased it's beat triggering an adrenaline rush, resulting in feelings of euphoria and also remote happiness. He never really gets used to this even though it happens atleast three times a day.
You see, jeon jeongguk and Kim taehyung have a strange bond, a strange unexplainable bond. It's outlandish but yet jeongguk will do anything to keep it unbroken. What can he do, really? when someone he has never even spoke to plays such an important role in his life, as far as being miserable if he doesn't lay eyes on him for a day.
Jeongguk didn't break eye contact while still making his way towards his seat with the rest of his friends.
"Lakers did well last night. JaVale McGee at it again." Jimin starts a topic, eyeing his food , a chopstick intertwined between his fingers.
Seokjin scoffed. "Bro, Lakers did far from well I didn't know if I was watching a basket ball game or a Fiesta. They were all just running around." He argued.
Jeongguk can sense an argument about to transpire like every other discussion they have around the lunch table.
"I agree, for once I enjoyed how golden state Warriors played. Jordan bell pushed through his fatigue and continued to do his best." hoseok jumped in the conversation, excited to talk about what they all love the most.
Jimin snickered, rolling his eyes in the process. "What? No! Did you guys go blind or something. Jordan bell wasn't in sync with his teammates. It's like he lost all his court sense." He shook his head, his brown locks moving right and left. "His passes weren't even accurate"
Jeongguk nodded supporting jimins point, his eyes leaving the boy he was having a stare down with from across the cafteria to devour his food before it gets cold.
This was basically how there lunch break went, munch on some food and talk about some game that took place and maybe a little 'I fucked someone last night' here and there. Jeongguk payed attention only half the time, it's pretty easy to guess why. It might sound a little blunt to the ears of an outsider, but they are genuinely satisfied with it. It's been like this for quite some time. The four of them unseparable and embedded.
