Constantly competing to complete the next moon landing
I want red white and blue on the moon
I want my stars in space, since we don't share the sky
Why make room for you when the second chair
at this table was just a footrest for me.
So let me move my mountains and mold them for me.
We got there first! Never mind the head start
Black hairbrushes and cinder skin
Are akin to justified murder here
When will someone tell them what THUG LIFE stands for?
It's a divide where distinguished didactics demolish each other
Black and white, red and blue
It's the color of the news articles these days!
A two-hue palette, let's paint with it
Let's spew lies about the other side together
True that this togetherness tells me who to fight against
With this perpetual war amongst each other
Sounds awfully familiar; the pigs are buying
the razorblades! Who to believe anymore?
Black and white newspapers aren't doing us any favors.
Swaddle toddlers in shirts starring jarring political statements
Women hold their children's chubby hands
Try to paint pretty flowers over death, but they already understand
Children at 5 see the homeless we don't dare to discuss
They already know that it's them vs us.
