Draco
Sitting down at the Slytherin table, I watched her as she leaned into stupid Potter's shoulder. Rolling my eyes I grabbed another bread roll and teared it apart.
Next thing I know she's sitting next to me.
"What's wrong?" She asks, furrowing her brows.
"You don't know what you do to me Maddie." I say, sighing.
"Sorry....what?" She shakes her head.
Breathing deeply, I mutter a quick "now or never" before leaving in, kissing her.
And she kissed back.
A few seconds later we pulled apart, her face a look of disbelief, and mine one of relief.
Next thing I know, Potter's on top of me, using me as his personal punching bag.
Harry
I look up to see where Maddie's going, and see she's heading towards Malfoy.
Narrowing my eyes at the ferret, I scowled.
I looked away shaking my head, until Hermione gasps and points behind me.
I whip my head around, and see Maddie and Malfoy.....snogging.
I stand up from the bench and run over there as fast as I can, pulling him off of her and punching him repeatedly.
"Mr. Potter!!" Someone yells from behind me, but I don't bother to look.
"MR. POTTER!" They yell again, this time I turned around.
McGonagall was standing behind me, pulling me off of the prat, she started scolding me.
"Detention Mr. Potter! And Mrs. Jones, will you please escort Mr. Malfoy to the infirmary." She demanded.
Maddie quickly nodded, pulling Malfoy up, and they left the Great Hall.
Scowling after them, I followed Professor McGonagall to her classroom, where I would be having detention.
Maddie
I pulled away from the kiss in disbelief, not knowing what to say. I never felt this way with Harry.
All of a sudden Draco was on the floor with Harry on top of him, Harry punching him non stop.
"Mrs. Jones will you please escort Mr. Malfoy to the infirmary." McGonagall said.
I nodded quickly, pulling Draco off his feet, and we left the Great Hall.
"I'm sorry" he mumbled about halfway there.
"For ruining your relationship with him." He continued a few seconds later.
I looked up at him then, glaring, even though deep inside I felt butterflies.
"Sorry doesn't cut it Malfoy." I snapped.
He looked down and nodded. "Okay" he whispered. Barely even audible.
We walked the rest of the way in silence, he occasionally opened his mouth as if to speak, but then closed it a few seconds later.
As we arrived at the infirmary, I stood there awkwardly for a few seconds. Draco gave me a hard look, "leave" he said through grit teeth.
I was taken aback. "O-okay." I replied, leaving the infirmary.

back in the great hall
I sat back down with Harry silently.
"What do you want Madison?" he scowled at me.
"It wasn't my fault Harry I was just-" I tried to explain.
"Stop." He interrupted. "I've seen you watching him, staring. I know you want to be with him. I don't know why I even thought I had a chance. We're over, goodbye." And with that he stood up, walking out of the Great Hall.
"Leave Madison." Ron said sternly.
Hermione just gave me an apologetic look.
Holding back tears, I stood up and went back to my house's table.
Plopping down beside Pansy, who I had recently become friends with, I couldn't hold them back anymore.
I cried. And cried. And cried.
Pansy
I watched Draco lean in, and I gasped when Maddie kissed him back.
Smiling, finally glad that my best friend had gotten up the courage to kiss her.
I smiled at Blaise, and when I returned my gaze back to the snogging pair, Draco was on the ground, Potter beating the shit out of him.
Eyes going wide, I stood up to stop the fight, before Blaise pulls me back down and points at a fuming McGonagall coming towards us.
I relaxed a bit, knowing she would handle the situation.
As Maddie took Draco to the infirmary, I squeezed Blaise's hand tightly.
"We'll go see him after dinner, don't worry." He said, pulling me close.
I simply nodded, pushing my plate away from me as I remembered Draco's bloody face and probably broken nose.
Sighing, I rubbed my face. Maddie then sat down beside me silently. I was about to ask how Draco is when she started crying. I hugged her immediately.
"It's ok, it's ok. Potter's a prat anyway." I said in a hopefully soothing tone.
She sighed. "I guess." She sniffed.
Pulling away from the hug, I gave her a reassuring smile.
"We're going to see Draco after dinner, want to come?" I asked.
She shook her head. "No, I don't think he wants to see me." She said sadly.
I glanced at Blaise, and he shrugged.
"Okay." I replied. "I'll see you in the dorms then." I smiled.
"Yeah" she mumbled. "I'm just gunna go now." She said while standing up. "Cya Pansy, Blaise" She nodded before walking out.
Blaise turned to me. "5 galleons they'll be together by the end of the year." He smirked.
Rolling my eyes I shook his outstretched hand. "Deal" I nodded.
Draco
I lay silently in the infirmary bed. I don't want to hurt Maddie anymore than I already have, so I'm going to be to her what I am to everyone else. A prick. It will make her stay away from me, and she won't get hurt. After all, there's only a week left of school, and she'll forget about me by next year.
I was so lost in thought that I didn't see Pansy and Blaise walk in.
"You okay Malfoy?" Blaise asked.
I sighed. "Yeah. The prat broke my nose though. Stupid Potter." I muttered.
Pansy laughed. "So what happened with Maddie?" She asked a few seconds later. "She said you wouldn't want to see her."
"Good." I grimaced. "I don't want to hurt her more than I already have." I shook my head.
Blaise and I exchanged glances, knowing he will probably ignore her for the last week.
