its been a while now. a while of doing nothing but staring as misa's lifeless body. 'what has happened to my life? what have i done to deserve this?!' i think to myself still gazing as my adopted sisters dead body. i feel so numb. all emotion spilled out of me in an instant. i just watched my only family member i have left get killed right in front of my eyes and what did i do? nothing. well its not like i could've done anything thanks to the rope that keeps me to this damned chair but she told me that she loved me... and i said nothing.
my mouth didn't even move. i was too busy feeling sorry for myself to answer her, to tell her how much i loved her to. i was so useless at that very moment. i felt like a nobody. like nothing. all feeling and emotion... gone. i wasn't Eren Jaeger anymore. i had snapped. just like Levi did. i'm someone else now. someone much crazier as i laugh. i. just. laugh. i didn't even feel bad for laughing. it felt good. like i have held something in me forever and its just been waiting to get out.
to free its self from my frail body. its gotten out. my inner maniac has escaped. erupted from me like a ball of flames. turning me into someone i don't want to be. it fells as i have no choice but to give in, to completely break.to snap.
levi pov
i was just cleaning the wall of any stray blood as i hear psychotic laughter come from the basement. laughing. Eren. was. laughing. he had snapped just like i planned. now we can be together. he wont hold back.he wont say no. he will just fall right into my arms. this is the day. the day i make him mine!
i feel a crazy smile spread on my face. i drop all the cleaning supplies i had in my hands (oml levi stopped cleaning for something!) i walked up to the basement door hearing the laughter getting louder. however when i open the door to the basement ,it stopped. 'huh?'
"Eren dear? my love are you ok?" i ask from the door, loud enough so he could hear me.
" is this how it feels?"
"what do you mean?"
"is this how it feels?"
"is this how it feels to what?"
"is this how it feels to completely snap?"
i stopped myself from saying anything and i thought through my answer.
"how do you feel?"
"good. great even. a bit broken though"
"yes Eren, yes. that is how it feels"
"i love this feeling"
"me too Eren. me too"
