Akio opened his eyes ever so slowly and peered down at Axel who still had his arms around him. Akio smiled and slowly put his arms around Axel to complete the sleeping hug. Axel sharply opened his eyes and kicked Akio very hard in the stomach making him fall off the bed. "GUULGH." Akio whimpered and held his stomach while looking up at Axel. "Tch." Axel said crossing his arms. "WHY DO YOU KEEP ENDING UP NEXT TO ME WE AT LEAST HAVE A ROOM WITH TWO BEDS!!" Akio shouted. Axel looked off to the side and Akio let out a sigh. Akio got up and picked up his backpack pulling out a set of clothes from it before putting it back down. "NOW PUT THESE ON!!" Akio shouted as he threw the clothes at Axel. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND." Axel shouted back. "Grrrr." Akio grumbled with a flat expression. "I am not changing I'm very comfortable in this thank you." Axel said crossing his arms even tighter. "We aren't leaving with you looking like THAT." Akio said. "What do you mean by that?!" Axel questioned sternly. "You look like you got in a fight or fell off a waterfall so change!" Akio said in a concerned voice. Axel scoffed and slammed a foot down. Akio glared at Axel before crossing his arms in a mocking manner. Axel crosses his arms across his abdomen to grab the sides of his shirt taking it off hesitantly. Akio uncrossed his arms and watched. Axel looked at the floor and said, "Tch." He turned around holding his shirt over his chest, "HEY I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING STOP IT." Axel shouted. Akio laughed for a minute and then turned around facing the wall. A few minutes have passed and Axel was changed into the set of clothes Akio had given him and they both were on their way to the city gate.
"Are you going to answer my question yet?" Akio asked. Axel stopped walking and looked at Akio. "I like sleeping next to you." Axel mumbled while looking at the ground. "What?" Akio asked with a sly grin slowly leaning forward toward Axel. "Tch." Axel growled and grabbed Akios backpack straps to throw him. "Ouch." Akio groaned. Axel kept walking toward the gate once again leaving Akio behind. "Wait up!" Akio shouted trying to catch up to Axel. By the time Akio caught up they reached the gate. "It's still closed now what?!" Akio complained. Axel walked over to one of the gate guards and asked him to bend over near Axel's face. Akio watched from a decent distance from Axel. Axel threw his knee up to slam it against the guards bottom jaw. The guards bottom jaw slammed against his top jaw at such a strong force it knocked him out. Akio gasped. Axel walked over to the second guard and jumped up to grab the back of his neck and slammed his head against the metal bars. "Coast is clear idiot." Axel said pulling the lever that puts the gate up. Akio walked to the other side of the gate with bugged eyes. "Tch." Axel hissed and put the gate back down. "Lead the way." Axel said bluntly. Akio walked with Axel right next to his side for miles before reaching a monster spawning site. "Leave it to me." Akio said unsheathing his weapon. "You are going to get yourself killed you can't go out there let's just go around it won't take long." Axel said. "You sound concerned do you care about me?" Akio asked. "Of course not idiot." Axel growled, "I'm going with you then." He continued. "Fine but don't do anything." Akio replied.
Axel unsheathed his own weapon before walking next to Akio. Akio just rolled his eyes and whistles to get the monsters attentions. Axel darted in front of Akio to take the first few slashes on one of them. "Wai-" Akio shut up while shaking his head and took on another monster on his own. Axel looked behind him to look at Akio and smiled. Akio looked back at Axel who kept the smile and he smiled back. A monster threw Akio back and he hit a boulder before landing on the grass leaving sliding marks. Axel's smile went away and turned all the way around to attack from above. The monsters disintegrated into the air and Axel dropped his sword to run over by Akio's side. He shook Akio back and forth, "A-Akio come on don't joke around please be okay." Axel stammered and stuttered. Akio closed his eyes. "AKIO PLEASE." Axel panicked and started to tear up. "Akio don't leave me it's too soon for that please!!" Axel said setting Akio down and he buried his face into Akio's chest. "Akio.... don't leave me... you made me feel things I never thought were possible.!..." Axel trembled and started to cry. Akio smiled and pushed Axel off. "So you DO care about me!" Akio said with a smile. Axel gasped and wiped his eyes. "SHUT UP DONT DO THAT EVER AGAIN!" Axel shouted. Akio laughed and stood up. Axel couldn't help but to start crying again and as more tears fell off Axel's face the more he tried wiped his eyes. "Axel." Akio said to get his attention. Axel looked up at Akio and Akio held his hand out. "Let me help you up." Akio offered. "I hate you." Axel said while grabbing his hand. Instead of Axel standing up he yanked Akio down and Axel gave him a hug. "Don't do that ever ever ever again or I'll kill you." Axel threatened. "I won't I promise." Akio reassured and completed the hug by wrapping his arms around Axel. Axel hugged him even tighter. Fairies sprouted in the fields around them and surrounded them. "Axel look!" Akio pointed at all the fairies. Axel looked up with sparkly eyes at all the small glowing people with wings. "I'll kill them all!" Axel said standing up. "No no! They are our friends." Akio said to him. "Hmph." Axel said crossing his arms and he sat back down to enjoy all the pixies flying around them.
Ending the chapter at 1034! The fake death part was a little cheesy but I'm on a time crunch because I need to feed my animals but enjoy.
