Noctis X Iris

Calling

Hello everyone. I'm AJ and I personally ship these two. If you don't by all means I understand. I thought I would do a one shot on these two getting to be close like how I wanted in the Chapter 8 campaign. I think it's 8 if I'm correct.

Going off the canon story with a few tweaks and here we go.

Noctis has just gotten dressed for the day when his phone rang. It seemed as if the world knew what his sleep schedule was. He stretched and slide his finger across to accept.

< Hello? >

< Noct? It's Iris. Is that really you? >

< Yeah. Good to hear from you Iris. >

< I knew you made. You just had to. And all of you are alright? >

< We're here I guess. >

< I'm in Lestallum. How soon can you make it? >

< I'm hoping by sunset after we get everything in order. >

< Great. I'll see you all then. >

*Click*

Gladiolus was getting a little jealous. "Hm. She can't call her own big brother? I see how it is." He huffed.

"Well we're off to Lestallum Gladio. After we all eat let's get everything together and be there before dark. I'm not fighting demons before bed."

"A wise decision." Agreed Ignis.

"Yeah. We can get a good sleep tonight. In a nice hotel." Chimed Prompto.

"Got a problem with camping?" Asked Gladio with a glare.

"No..."

Ignis cleared his voice. "Is everything in order?" He asked.

"Almost." Replied Noctis double checking everything.

"Good. Let's be off now."

After finishing up a few small side jobs for a few gil the guys finally settled off. Noctis sat in the back thinking about what was going on. Still getting over his old man had brutally passed away from the magitech soldiers and now finally someone he knew not part of the Royal Guard, Cid, and Cindy reached out to him. It's just been such a while and didn't know how to go about this.

"Noct?" Called Ignis.

"Huh?" He shook his head and stopped spacing out. "We're here?"

"Rightfully so."

"This place is huge. They got a cable car for crying out loud." Prompto was excited to be there.

"Man it's hot for this time of day." Complained Noctis.

"Well we are early. It's not even sunset." Informed Ignis.

"Well Noct lose the jacket and let's find somewhere cool. How about it?" Smirked Gladiolus.

"Nice room tonight right?" Asked Prompto.

"Do believe so. Let's not let the girl wait any longer." Insisted Ignis.

"Actually it's funny you say that. Just got a text. Finally right? She's at the Leville."

Going through the center of town was a joy. Gladiolus checking out some of the local women and it was a while since the guys have been to the city. Not as big as home but a swell humble feeling. To top that to have Iris waiting everyone was excited.
