Shōyō was sitting on the couch in his living room watching a volleyball match on the tv while Natsu coloured a picture in a book on the floor. Their mother Akiko was on the phone, her eyes were glossy as she carried a sad look on her face.

Shōyō turns his head from the tv when a commercial came on the screen noticing his mother's expression he raised a eyebrow
"What's wrong mom" he asked curiously as he walked over to her in the kitchen, Akiko raises one finger then placed it on her lips, signalling that she would tell him after.

Not much long she placed the house phone down, a single tear gently falls down her face "do you r-remember (y/n)?, Shōtō" the women asked her son softly
Shōyō nods his head lightly "yeah I remember her she's my cousin" he said "last time i say her we were eight" he told her

Akiko nods softly "do you remember what makes her different" she asked curiously Shōyō  shakes his head no
"S-she had bad vision then but now she almost completely blind and coming to live with us" Akiko told her oldest child

The fluffy orange haired boy was shocked "why is she coming to stay with us?" He asked her
Akiko sighed ruggedly as another tear slips
"Your aunt passed on" she croaked out, she had already lost her husband, and brother-in-law she wasn't ready to loose her sister though

Shōyō gasped softly and nodded rubbing his eyes lightly from tears he knew his aunt Hareta very well since she often visited briefly on her way home for work "how did she die?" He asked at the wrong time when Natsu walked in "who died?" She asked curiously tilting her head innocently

"Auntie Hareta passer away sweetie" Akiko told her youngest child who started to cry loudly,
Shōyō picked up Natsu and held her close "I know it hurts Natsu but what's important is that when (y/n) arrives tomorrow we help her any way we can" Akiko told her child taking her from Shōyō's arms and holding her gently

"What's wrong with (y/n)?" Asked Natsu her quietly as she rubbed her eyes over and over again
"She can't see, she's blind" her mother told her in a hush voice making the girl nod

The small family went to bed that night with hurting hearts but excited minds thinking about their new aventures and struggles to occur and overcome with the blind girl called (y/n).

Akiko woke up early the next morning and started to make breakfast for her child and (y/n) who would be arriving early this Monday morning.
Shōyō was already at school since he had volleyball practice this morning, meaning Akiko had to only make food for the usual three,
Natsu smelt the food and quickly woken up "morning mommy" she chirped sitting on a stool now watching her mother cook

"Good morning love, have you tidy up your room since you'll be sharing with (y/n)" she asked the little girl who happily nodded
