"Hey guys! It's Dean, and I'm back with another video!" Cas could hear Dean reciting his usual intro from the bedroom. YouTube was his living, and Cas couldn't help but find it cute. He tugged at his tie so it would fit snugly around his neck, grabbed the handle of his briefcase, then headed out the bedroom door and to the hallway. He tip toed past the bathroom, making sure to be as silent as possible so as to not interrupt the video in progress. Though, while he treaded lightly across the wood, he listened to what Dean was planning for the video: "Never Have I Ever." He had his subscribers send him a bunch of questions from Twitter would answer in his video. Cas smiled to himself because he knew that whatever questions his fans gave them, they were all juicy, and perfectly formed and thought out to make Dean spill everything. This should be entertaining. Cas thought to himself, but he had to get to work. Dean only got up this early so that: 1. He could finish recording and editing by the time Cas came home, and 2. He would get to see him before he was left in the house all alone. Castiel made his way over to the couch that Dean was filming the video on and sat down beside him. With a smirk, he fished out one of the ripped up pieces of paper in the bowl on the coffee table in front of them and read aloud: "Are you sub or dom?" Cas raised his eyebrow, urging Dean to answer. "Depends on the day." He said with a suggestive look on his face. Cas chuckled and put his hands on either side of Dean's torso, leaning into his ear and whispering, "You bet your ass it does." He stood up swiftly before Dean could say or do anything else, leaving him completely turned on. Castiel walked past the kitchen, opened the front door, then winked at Dean ever so subtly as he crossed the threshold. He knew that his little invasion would be cut from the video to keep the world (mainly his job) from finding out they were involved with each other, but there was still a level of satisfaction to totally dumbfounding his husband.

Cas smiled to himself then laughed a little after he closed the door behind him, walking past the '78 Continental and '67 Impala and starting down his regular path to work. It wasn't far. About a twenty minute walk, but he enjoyed watching the community wake up with him. The sky a deep shade of cerulean melting into the warm coral, sunlight that flickered like a candle just lit, rising to the burning flame that would soon engulf the atmosphere. Some of the neighbors would have lights on in their homes, some windows were still pitch black. Some people were getting into their cars, on their way to see how the day unfolds, and some simply waited on their porch, sipping at coffee, thinking. Cas liked to observe thinking people. Their expressions were always interesting. They could be joyful, serious, thoughtful, sorrowful, tempting, contemplating, but they were always so deep. He could almost feel the gears winding and turning and piecing together in their heads. It was just...fascinating.

He continued down the sidewalk, watching cars and bikes and runners pass him on the way. Approaching the building, he sighed, preparing himself for the next six hours. Cas-or Mr. Novak, as his students called him- could hear the loud rumbling as busses pulled into the lot and load of preteens filed out in clumps, finding their friends in the crowd or walking onto the campus solitarily. As they made their ways toward the courtyard to socialize, or the cafetorium to have breakfast, or the media center to study or avoid any social interaction whatsoever, Cas made his way to his classroom, room 454. He unlocked the door, turned on the light, then carried his case over to his desk. There wasn't much there but a pencil holder, tissues, sanitizer, papers, a name plate, and this awesome statue of an angel with black wings that were spread like an eagle's. He was clad in a long, beige trench coat, which Cas thought was to symbolize that an angel could look like any other person but you just have to wait for them to swoop into your life. Dean had given it to him for his birthday a couple of years back and Cas cherished it. The room itself though, was covered from top to bottom in his and Dean's favorite band and movie posters. There were a couple of maps and motivation posters here and there, but those never attracted the attention of the students more than the unique patterns and pictures on his posters.
