“I hate you...please just leave....” the small, brown haired man said trembling. “Please...just go...” He reached out and gave a shove to the blond man in front of him. With that the brown haired man ran away as fast as he could tears streaming down his face. Why must I cry so much? He wondered to himself as he slowed down at the corner. He slumped up against the corner of the brick building. “I was so stupid...” he mumbled to himself as he punched the ground. The tears were still coming as snow began to fall. Being caught in a snowstorm was the last thing he wanted so the brown haired man headed home. But the problem was, what was home? He had lived with the blond man for so long that he no longer had a place of his own. Everything was shared between the two. Picking himself up off the ground he decided he could try spending the night at his friend Aoi’s house.
I’ll rewrite it again..our story will not end...
The blond haired man was left alone on the bridge. What went wrong....? He thought to himself as he turned to walk in the opposite direction. With his hands in his pockets he decided to take a detour on the way home. He went to the park...he just wanted to sit on the bench near the weeping willow and try to figure out things out. This was also the place where it all began, so maybe, he thought, this will be the place where maybe things could go right again. “I wish...I just wish I could rewrite this...there would be no end only happy beginnings...” the blond sighed as he sat down on the bench that now had a light blanket of snow on it. The blond didn’t mind. Looking to his left he saw the weeping willow. On the trunk he saw their initials horrible carved into it. He quietly laughed to himself as he reminisced about that day. To him it was a fun day.
Right now I’m writing such a happy story...
They had just gotten out of band practice and the weather was so nice and warm. They were going on a secret date since none of the other members knew they were together. The relationship was so new too. They thought it’d be foolish to tell the others, they thought, “What if it doesn’t last as long as we think?” Their date was innocent. They had a nice picnic under the shade of the weeping willow and just acted like kids..despite being in their 20s. Towards the end the brown hair man got up and pulled a knife from his pocket. He said, “Reita let’s carve the date in the tree! Oh and we can add our initials too...I think it’d be fun.” The blond, Reita, got up from the blanket and sighed. It wasn’t a bad sigh out of annoyance but just for show. He had to resist the temptation to smile at his lover’s idea. He thought it was cute.
“Reita...I don’t want to leave this park...it’s so quiet and nice..” Ruki said holding Reita’s hand.
“Neither do I...” Reita whispered and with that he leaned in to kiss his lover. It was a short, sweet kiss and after he said, “We should come here again...”
I can never let you go from my embrace...
That date was almost two years ago. The band tried to move past it but there was always some sort of tension. The two never got over the hurt or feelings but didn’t dare to tell each other that. Ruki started being with a different girl every night. Reita tried to date other people but he always kept comparing them to Ruki in his mind. His feelings got so bad one day he snapped. He stormed out of a club they were in and didn’t come back for two days.
There is no such thing as an end for us...
“That day...what happened....? When did everything start to fall apart?” Reita thought to himself one day during band practice. The band was taking a quick break and Reita was sitting in the corner of the room by himself. He was looking at Ruki out of habit. Just then Kai sat down next to Reita and offered him so me chips.
“No thanks...” Reita said. Kai shrugged but then noticed something was wrong with Reita.
“You know..I think deep down he misses you. I’ve seen him after these little flings of his. He’s never happy...I mean truly happy. Trust me I know he’s crashed at my place so many times...when he’s drunk he talks a lot. Mostly about you, you know.” Kai said giving Reita a solemn look. Reita just sighed and nodded his head at Kai. He didn’t mean to come off as cold but he just didn’t want to talk about Ruki. He didn’t want to talk about anything really.
