It was after school. I hadn't seen Ethan or Hazel around school. I usually hung out with James or Sage. Sage and I begun talking again. It happened very slowly. But, we're okay now.

James and I sat on my bedroom floor as we studied. My book was open on my lap. I leaned on my desk as the sun hits my face. My attention was somewhere else.

"You alright there, Woodridge?" James laughs.

"I hate that name." I mutter. "Woodridge."

"Yeah I figured."

"How so?"

James shrugs and shuts his book. "You kind of get a fright whenever I call you that."

I laugh and I roll my eyes. "I'm not a fan."

James sits back and stares me. "You've been acting really weird."

"I am weird."

"Weirder than usual." He chuckles. "Everything okay?"

I nod. "Of course."

He stands up and sits on the bed. He puts his hands over his face.

"You don't like to open, I see."

I stand up and I sit beside him. "No, it's just... I have a lot of things going on."

James nods. "You're just so distant."

I grab his hand and I kiss him softly. "I'm right here."

He brings me in and he kisses me again. I lay down and he moves on top of me. His fingers traced down my arm as he sent shivers down my spine. James takes off his shirt and I take off mine. He kisses me again and he pauses.

"I love you." He whispered.

Ethan's P.O.V

"It's cold tonight." Hazel shivers.

I nod. "Take this."

Hazel puts herself in my jacket and she smiles at me. We were eating chocolate and candy on the building. The breeze was nice and refreshing.

"So, what do you think?" Hazel asks. "How has the timing out, gone for you?"

I shrug. "I think it's okay." I smile at her.

"Tell me more." She laughs, pulling my sleeve.

"Okay!" I chuckle. "It's been a few good months. I'm happy that I met someone like you."

She rolls her eyes. "Thanks."

I place my fingers underneath her chin. And I kiss her gently. Hazel breaks away and she walks to the centre of the building. I laugh and I as I walk toward her she takes off my jersey and her t-shirt, leaving her in just a bra. I bring her into my arms and I kiss her again.

The stars shined over us, along side the moon. Hazel's body was on mine and it was the only warmth we had.
