The ticking of the clock echoes faintly in the otherwise silent room.
Andy leans back against her seat, chewing the minty gum in her mouth faster, though silent.
Meanwhile, Kai stares straight ahead at the door. No signs of being impatient. She's completely calm.
Finally, the door opens to reveal their "manager", Min Yoongi. He chuckles when noticing how impatient Alexandria looks.
"Calm down, Pinky. I'm not that late."
A smirk plays at his lips as he sits down and listens to Andy's slight growl. Blood had rushed to her cheeks and given them that faint reddish glow.
"Don't call me that."
"I'll call you what I want, Pinky. Hmm or do you prefer Princess? Maybe Darling?"
Andy growls lowly again, her blush becoming more recognizable.
"Anyway," Kai, who had been watching in amusement, leans forward towards Yoongi as she speaks. "I asked you here because we need something."
The male raises an eyebrow at the female with black hair.
"Well, we're undercover as idols. Idols need music to stay relevant. Andy and I can dance, sing, and rap. But we need songs fast. You're a pretty good songwri-"
Yoongi holds a hand up and reaches into his pocket. The two girls tense a bit as he does but then relax when they notice him pulling a folder out.
"I knew you'd ask that. There's enough songs in here to make an album. All you have to do is figure out the music itself. I'll help when I can but, as you already know, it's going to cost."
Kai nods and smirks. She looks at Andy, nodding once again.
The pink-haired female sighs and passes Yoongi an envelope, to which he opens.
After a satisfied sigh escapes his lips, he gives the girls the folder and stands.
"Contact me if you need to. I'll try to keep you updated on the other gang." He smiles a bit, then leaves the room.
;
Later that day, Kai flicks through the papers with song lyrics written on them, sitting on the sofa. Andy comes in and sets a mug of coffee down, the steam indicating that it's still hot.
"I'm bored." She pouts. The older female sighs and tries to focus on the songs, trying to imagine what music and beats would sound good with the lyrics.
"Kai. Kai. Kai. Kai. Kai." Andy hangs upside down on the chair across from the couch. "Kai. Kai. Ka-"
"What, Andy?" Kai closes the folder with a bit more force than usual but she's kind of stressed and annoyed.
"Let's go to the park. We haven't gone out in forever." Alexandria suggests with a cute grin. "Besides, you need to rest a bit. Stop being a workaholic, darling."
"But-"
Andy places a hand on Kai's mouth, smiling to herself as she cuts Kai's protests off. Kai stares at her in slight surprise, wondering how she got across the room so quickly.
"No buts. Let's go."
;
Kai and Andy arrived at the park soon after leaving. Kai obviously ran over to the nearest dog to pet it, which ended up being Taehyung's little Pomeranian. She went to ask the owner if she could pet it but when she saw who he was, her eyes narrowed.
Andy went over to get Kai away, but she wouldn't budge because she really, really, really wanted to pet Yeontan.
Kai put on a fake smile and looked at Tae. "Can I pet your dog?"
Taehyung shrugs in response. "I don't see why not."
Hearing that, Kai picked Yeontan off the ground and began booping his nose and petting him.
While this went down, Jae-Sun and Tae we're sneakily checking out Andy, who obviously saw them but didn't let them know it. And let's not forget our two wonderful gays who're probably playing with worms in the grass-
Well, the two wonderful gays weren't playing with worms, but instead feeding each other ice cream nearby, on a small bench. Andy notices them and smiles softly before snapping out of it.
As much as she hates to admit, she's a sucker for romance. She loves cute couples. Even if they are in the gang she despises with every fiber in her being.
Kai continues to pet Yeontan, a genuine smile on her face when doing so.
Jae-Sun and Taehyung continue to check out Andy, though Jae-Sun sneaks a few glances at Kai. Her smile makes him feel happy.
