Today is Skylar’s First day of school in Worldwide University. It is a United Nation’s sponsored school available only to the top 200 students from the provinces of that country. A rigorous written exam and an oral skype exam has to be passed in all third World countries seeing that they receive full study scholarship for 5 uninterrupted years. Usually most students accepted reside in the provinces from all over the nation.
As Sky’s Mom and Dad search the premises, they detected no were scents anywhere in the school premises. They came in early to scout the school’s employees and students for Sky’s safety. After all, their pack lives 2000 miles across the seas.
Although Sky is probably the lone werewolf in this school, the territory belongs to the Silver Lowlander Pack in the capital. Later before we live the area, we have to formally meet them and introduce Sky as she already has permission from the pack to pursue her studies here.
The elders in her clan, the Golden Pearl Pack, has deliberated that this is an advantageous step for the clan as well as the human’s sake. Times are peaceful but to make an alliance is always the smart thing to do.
Alpha Matthew and Beta Nick will come later to introducé the Sanchez family to them seeing that they are only the Royal Omegas.
SKYLAR’S POV
I am so excited. Gosh, my first day in the capital and the school. I smell only humans and they seem to be friendly. I hope to meet a were and to find my mate here. This informations is only known to Grandpa Lo. Otherwise, my parents will not allow me to leave and stay here for the coming five years. They think that my mate is someone from our clan as most omega’s usually are.
I am friends at school in Santiago with a witch. Just 3 months ago she looked into the future for me and saw me in here with my mate. She was not happy for me seeing that we would be physically apart but we can find a way to still meet each other.
Mom and Dad has totally canvassed the area today and concluded that their are no werewolf here anywhere.
Looking at my preliminary schedule and school map, we wanted to locate the guidance counselor’s office first.. Walking blindly, “ouch sorry!”
In front of me lies on the ground with his but on the floor is a cute guy with curly bangs dangling on his forehead. Extending my hand, I say “Sorry again, let me help you up.”
Accepting my hand, he said smiling “man what are you wearing, an invincible shield?”
“Haha very funny. I must just have been running with an extra momentum.”
“Hoho, slow down your momentum, we are not yet starting class today. This is an orientation day,” he said, eyes smiling . He looks cute and with his 5’8” height, my petite 5’2” seems a good match. I know I will like this start.
“Yeah, we are just looking for the guidance counselor’s office so they can answer my parent’s questions. I’m Skylar Sanchez by the way. Call me Sky”
“Nice to meet you Sky. I’m Jerry Rosales. Maybe we have a class together if the system they’ll use is alphabetical. Goody!!”
“Hi we are John and Linda Sanchez. Sky’s parents.”
Smiling at them, Jerry said, “let me show you the way Mr and Mrs Sanchez . I’ve just been there myself. My parents were with me a week ago to inspect everything at school. Since most students came from the provinces, parents check out the area even if this is a very prestigious school.”
Jerry seems so open and honest that Mom said to the pack link, “This is a nice guy. Any tingling yet my dear?”
“Mom! Nothing! I think we may become good friends but you and Dad are totally checking him out.” My face feels red as I looked the other way.
“Dear, every young man knows they are being checked by the parents, human or were.” Dad chuckles via our mind link. Thank God my parents are cool.
I know though no stones will be checked unturned and certainly not this evening with the resident pack. I crossed my fingers hoping they all approve of them. Otherwise, with 1 out of 4 veto and I’d be taking my butt home.
I love them all. Their super protectiveness is my advantage and maybe my downfall.
