chapter eleven

Maddie
I grabbed the letter from under my pillow with shaking hands, giving it to Pansy.
I watched her eyes move as she read the letter silently. She slowly handed the letter back to me.
"That arrogant ferret! He's such a prick!" Pansy exclaimed after a few seconds.
I bit my lip to hold back tears, but I guess it didn't work. The tears flooded down my face, dripping onto the letter held loosely in my hands.
Pansy hugged me tightly, rubbing my back in a soothing manner.
"I'll have a strong word with him, I swear." She promised when she pulled away.
Wiping away tears I slowly nodded.
I let out a shaky breath, standing up from the bed and placing the letter into the box.
Collapsing back onto the bed, I composed myself.
"Sometimes it all gets a little too much." Pansy sighed.
"I know." I whispered, feeling a tear slide down my cheek.
Pansy gave me a sympathetic smile, hugging me once more.
"I have to get back home." She whispered.
I nodded, pulling away.

Draco
I sat down in my usual compartement next to Blaise, who was laughing with Theo.
I had only sat down for a few seconds before hearing the compartement door open.
I looked up to see Pansy and Maddie. Pansy glared at me, pulling her friend into the seat beside her. Maddie avoided my gaze, staring at the floor.
Blaise smiled brightly at his girlfriend, and they started to talk about their summers, leaving me with Theo, and Maddie.
Theo nudged me, motioning towards Maddie.
I shook my head, eyes wide.
He raised his eyebrows. "Hey Ma-" he started, but stopped when she got up and left the compartment in a flash.
Pansy whipped her head towards Theo. "What the hell Nott?" She exclaimed, following her best friend.
We sat in silence, waiting for the girls to return.
"So..." Theodore turned to me.
"Shut the hell up Nott." I growled, turning away from him.
Maddie
I felt tears start to flow as I walked away from the compartement.
"Maddie!" Pansy called from behind me, but I just walked faster, but stopped when I ran into someone.
Looking up, I saw Hermione Granger.
"Maddie! What's wrong?" She questioned, voice filled with concern.
"I-" I started, but stopped when I started crying harder.
She wrapped me in a hug, pulling me towards her compartment.
She opened the door and I saw Harry and Ron sitting across from each other.
She sat down next to Harry, thankfully. So I took the seat next to Ron.
"I'm telling you Ron, he's being initiated! I saw him! We saw him!" Harry exclaimed.
"Harry stop it." Hermione whispered, glancing at me, and I suddenly knew who they were talking about.
Harry looked over at me. "Oh." He said simply, looking away.
Ron looked over at me apologetically, giving a small smile.
I smiled back, but it didn't reach my eyes.
Ron
Maddie walked into our compartement beside Hermione. I looked up at her, hoping she would catch my eye. When she sat down next to me, I felt butterflies.
I barely even heard what Harry had said to me, something about an initiation.
When she looked up at me, I smiled, and she smiled back.
I looked back at Harry and he gave me a hard glare. Obviously he still likes Maddie, but he'd never tell her that.
I on the other hand, would tell her I liked her in a heartbeat.....if Harry wouldn't kick my ass.
There was a knock on our door, Hermione opened it to a worried looking Pansy Parkinson.
I sneered at her, but she didn't notice. She was too preoccupied comforting her friend.
"He's a prick ok? Want me to punch him for you?" Pansy said seriously.
"Who?" I questioned.
Pansy straightened. I expected her to glare at me, but she didn't.
"Draco Malfoy." She responded.
"Oh." I replied. "What'd he do this time?"
Maddie looked up at me then, "I appreciate your concern Ronald but it's really none of your business." She responded, standing up to follow her friend out.
I just nodded.
"Thank you Hermione, Ron." She smiled forcefully.
She glanced up at Harry, and when their eyes met she looked away, and furrowed her brows as if she was confused.
She gave one last wave before leaving.
Maddie
Pansy walked into the compartement.
She immediately rushed to me, and gave me a hug.
"He's a prick ok? Want me to punch him for you?" She said, pulling back and giving me a concerned look.
I was about to smile, when I realized she was being serious.
I lightly shook my head.
"Who?" Ron piped up from beside me.
"Draco Malfoy." Pansy responded before I could tell him to mind his own beeswax.
"Oh. What'd he do this time?" He replied.
"I appreciate your concern Ronald, but it's really none of your business." I snapped, before Pansy could butt in again.
I stood up, following Pansy out of the compartement. But before leaving, I turned around.
"Thank you Hermione, Ron." I smiled.
I glanced over at Harry to see he was staring at me. When our eyes met I felt butterflies.
Frowning, I looked away. I didn't want to feel like this. I want Draco, not Harry.
And with that, I left the compartment, following Pansy back to where Draco, Blaise, and Theo sat waiting.
Before we entered the compartement, I grabbed Pansy's arm.
"Pansy. I don't want him to know he hurt me. I'm just going to act like everything normal and ignore him." I stated.
She smiled proudly. "Good. Show him he chose the wrong girl to fuck with."
I nodded, opening the compartment door, and sitting right across from Draco.
Draco
I watched as Maddie sat down in front of me and smiled at Blaise.
"How was your summer guys?" She questioned, regarding Theo and Blaise.
"Great!" Blaise replied, and shot into a summary of the last two months.
When he finished, Maddie smiled and nodded, turning to Theo.
"And you?"
"Oh. It was fine." He shrugged. "You?"
"Fantastic." She replied, smiling at me.

Ooook so yeah chapter eleven is finisheddd. Literally no one is reading my book but like damn do I give a shit? I mean yeah but like am I gunna complain like a little bitch? Ok yes I will do that too ok I'm just gunna stop now.
