summer was quite boring , i haven't seen any of my friends especially my bestfriend emily , who's been through ups and downs with me for as long as i remember. i cant believe summer is already over , everything just happened so fast i can't believe i'm actually a senior ,only a few months left and i'll be kissing this high school goodbye finally because i hated it here , all people do here is laugh and point at me ,mocking me because i had weight problems but i've had it with these people and worked my ass off this summer to lose weight and i did it .. enough talking i need to get to school or else im going to be late
'at school'
i was standing alone in the hallway getting my history book for first period and suddenly i caught sight of my bestfriend emily who was standing with matt , shit .. matt is my crush for as long as i remember we three are really good friends and i haven't seen them all summer because i was too busy working on myself
"is that y/n?" a girl asked while passing by with her friend
"with that ass it couldn't possibly be her" the other said and they started giggling
get a hold of yourself y/n this year is a fresh start for you, i took a deep breath while making my way to emily and matt
"y/n ? oh my god is that you ?" i hear matt say out of surprise
"yup that's me" i laughed and i hugged him
emily didn't even greet me which was weird as hell , we haven't seen eachother all summer and not even a single hey ?
"hey y/n i need to go or else i'll be late to biology" he said and left me and emily in an awkward silence
"well its great to see you too" i finally break the silence
"yeah whatever y/n , i gotta go to class bye" she said and left me standing alone , what has gone into her ? why is she treating me this way what could i've possibly done for that shitty attitude of hers ? I didn't let Emily's weird attitude distract me from english , yes it is boring as hell but anything to keep my mind of of this drama i thought
finally the bell rang which was time for PE , i love PE unlike half of my class , anyways Emily and Matt have the same class with me i hope i could try and talk to Emily again to see what's bothering her
"Emily , can we talk ?" i immediately asked her when i saw her
"about ?"
"about the way you're talking to me well actually you haven't even noticed i exist today so what's really going on with you ?" i asked
"ugh i don't need these kind of toxic friendships in my life y/n get over yourself , this isn't middle school anymore , people change" she said and then glued her face to her phone
"hey ladies" Matt to the rescue
"oh hey babe" Emily said while giving him a kiss on the cheek and my jaw dropped , that backstabbing bitch , how could she do this to me ? she even hugged him so she was facing me
"he's mine" she mouthed and i clenched my jaw out of anger , she practically knew how much i liked him yet she's dating him i left because i coudn't take this anymore what a bitch .. i got out of the gym because i needed air i had my head down because i didn't want anyone to see me crying until i bumped into a really hard chest that i found myself lying on the ground
"oh sorry i didn't mean to-" a familiar male voice was speaking
"oh no its okay i'm a bit clumsy though" i laughed but my smile faded away as soon as i saw who that was .. Jason Mccann
