"Hayes?.. Hayes?"
Hayes eyes were filled with confusion as they dart around the room, like the answer to what just happened will be somewhere on the floor.
"Hayes, I- I don't know what happened Hayes?"
His arm lifted for a brief moment instructing me to head for the door as he sat and held his knees. my fingers brush the golden door knob and I swivel my head. but before I could turn around Hayes finally speaks up
"Just go."
"Hayes, Hayes please I don-"
"GET OUT" he shouts at me with tears rolling into his blue eyes.
I don't give it a second thought. I open the door and two step the stairs to the bottom. Elizabeth, Hayes mom pokes her head from the kitchen.
"Not gonna join us for dinner?" she questions
"uhm, not tonight Mrs. Grier"
"hey, tell your mom i'll have her tupperware back tonight" she yells as im out the door
Hayes P.O.V.
The door glides open and I throw my stuff on the bed and sit at my computer desk. Tyler is close behind and he positions himself on my bed around my stuff. My phone vibrates.

Cameron: Is Nash home?
I reply: Why don't you ask him
Cameron: he isn't answering
I answer: I haven't seen him.
I swear they're gay for each other.
I get up and Tyler is staring straight into my eyes.
"what? Haha"
"Nothing well, when is the last time we have hung out?"
Actually, I have no idea.
"Um, I dunno. Last month?"
"More like 4 months, Hayes" he snaps back
"Wow, long time"
I turn in my chair and drop my phone on the desk and swivel back to Tyler. Suddenly, soft lips press against mine. for a second I close my eyes ready to enjoy the moment until my brain clicks, and I realize the only possibility who it could be.
"what the FUCK" I push Tyler hard, harder than I meant to but he just kissed me!
"Hayes?... Hayes?"
he keeps talking but everything starts to go blank and I stand up scanning the room like the answer to my troubles will be there. Tyler keeps talking but thats the last thing I need.
"Just go." I blurt out
"Hayes, Hayes please I don-"
I turn so i'm facing him and feel tears rushing to my eyes, even more reason for me to get him out
"GET OUT"
he slips out and I lose it. I try so hard to think of what just happened but things are moving so fast its like the past is being deleted from my mind to try to keep up with my racing thoughts. The cold drips of tears rolling of my nose and chin lift my body back to reality. I keep trying to remember if Tyler kissed me but its so hard. So many questions pound my mind. I breathe in only for it to be cut short and start to sob. The sudden stop of air in my chest makes it hurt and I flop onto my side making noises unimaginable.
