Hoseok was a simple man. But simplicity is subjective. Yes, Hoseok was simple; but that is regarding normal life.

When you realise what life Hoseok is about to live, he could be called fearful, a coward, lacking the proper stuff it takes to survive.

Of course that wasn't his fault. It was his parents fault.

"Hoseok dear, come out of the kitchen while the servants prepare the animals." He heard his mother call.

See Hoseok came from a rich family that kept him shrouded from the 'dangers' of the world.

Hoseok can remember his mother firing a servant for telling Hoseok a scary story before bed.

"Mother, I want to see how it's done." Hoseok whined. "You better go, she'll kick off else." The friendly cook spoke to him. Hoseok knew he was right so he did what his mother told him. Like he always did.

Upon entering the living area Hoseok seen his mother putting on her expensive fur coat and gloves. "Son I am off for a while, I will be an hour." She gave him a kiss on the cheek and left.

"Finally!" He called and flopped on the expensive plush couch. He flicked the TV on and watched. "Hoseok, will your mother be back before dinner?" He heard the cook call. "Yeah, back in an hour." He spat out quick to resume watching the news.

"Hi! Park Bom from the local news station and it is grave times indeed. A couple from a home on the east side of town we're out walking when they seen a young boy on his own. At the attempt to communicate with the boy, the couple were bitten multiple time and have now become infected with some sort of virus."

"I'm sorry miss you have to leave!"

The microphone was then pointed at the officer.

"Sir, can you tell us what happened to the boy and the couple?"

"I said get out of here lady!" The cop told her and walked off to the huge tent in the middle of the street.

"Rude, I'll say!" She said with a smile. "This is Park Bom reporting live updates fo-"

"Run!"

Hoseok was on the edge of his seat as he seen the woman on screen being ripped and eaten by grey people. "What the....flip." He whispers.

"Hey have you seen this?" He calls to the chef. He enters the room and gasps. "Is this for real?" The chef cries out. Immediately he's on his knees in front of Hoseok pleading. "My family live near there. Would you allow me to leave and check if they are okay?"

Hoseok looked in his eyes and saw desperation. "..Sure, I mean-"

"Thank you! I'll be back soon."

And with that, he left.

There was another news report shortly after the chef left.

"Breaking. There has been a outbreak of a deadly virus that kills and them resurrects them into the undead. Avoid getting bit or scratched by such people and-"

There was a crash in the studio and the anchor spoke quickly before the tv cut off.

"Just fuckin' shoot them down, in the head! God help us all."

Hoseok didn't know what to do. Shoot them? He need a gun. Immediately he scarpered up the staircase and into his parents room.

He knew his dad used to keep a gun behind a panel in the wall. Hoseok successfully cracked the wooden panel and took the gun with ammo.

Once back in the living room, it set into Hoseoks head. He'd never see anyone die. Not even on TV! He's scared of 99% of the world. What is he going to do when it comes down to survival.

That's when he hears it.

Vicious snarling and scraping coming from the front door. He propped himself up on the lob rifle until he could stand and he readied himself. For his first kill or his death.

He was terrified at both.

The gun was up and in position and he was slowly making his way toward the door.

He was even slower while reaching foreword for the door handle. The thought that he was about to open the door to one of those things was making him dizzy. Sick almost.

With a gulp, he placed his hand on the door knob and twisted. Just as he swung the door open there was a gunshot and the body before him dropped.

Hoseok looked up to see two men. They looked like teenagers to him but what did he know.

"Oh sorry, didn't know anybody would be here." He one with lighter hair asked. Hoseok said nothing.

"Ah sorry again. I'm Taehyung and this is Jungkook. Can we come in?" He spoke again.

Hoseok just sidestepped and opened the door allowing the two boys to come inside.

"Hey," The guy with the darker hair quipped. "You don't have any beers do you?"

Just who did he let into his house?
