Here you were, standing in front of you childhood friends door to his trailer since he texted you to come over because he needed to talk to you about something important. You take a deep breath and knock on his door and look down at your feet as you wait for him to answer. Finally, you hear the door open and see your childhood friend, and long term crush standing in front of you. He smiles once he sees you. 

"Hey Y/N, come in." he says as he moves to the side to let you in. You walk in and sit down on the couch and Jug sits next to you, you look over at him and see that he's in thought. 

"What did you need to talk tome about Jug?" you ask, thinking it was about Betty. He finally snaps out of his thoughts and sighs. 

"Have you ever been with someone but you don't feel the same with them like you did before because you found someone else?" he asks. 

"What do you mean?" you ask, trying your best not to sound heartbroken. 

"I don't feel the same with Betty like I did before. Whatever me and Betty had, it's just not there for her anymore, and I think its because I have feelings for someone else." You could've sworn your heart broke even more. 

"Do you mind me asking who this other girl is?" He looks down at his lap and smiles. 

"Its this girl that I've known for a long time, and I kinda pushed her aside when I started dating Betty, and I have never felt more guilty because we used to tell each other everything, she has helped me through so much, she was there when my mom and Jellybean left, she was there when she found out I was living in the Drive-In before it shut down, and I didn't realize that the one I truly love has been right in front of me this whole time." He says looking at you in the eyes. 

"What's this mystery girl's name?" 

"Her name is Y/N Y/L/N." He says, still maintaining eye contact with you. You look at him with your mouth open in shock, at a loss for words. 

"It's okay if you don't like me back, I just couldn't handle pretending to be in love with Betty anymore when I've always been in love with you." Finally after coming over your shock grab his face in your hands and look into his blue eyes with your E/C ones. 

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear those words from you Juggie." You say. He looks down at your lips and you do the same with him. You both lean in and finally, after years and years of waiting, his lips are on yours. You kiss back without hesitating. You guys pull away after a while, breathing heavily. 

"I love you Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N."

"I love you too Forsythe Pendleton Jones III."
