it was 2 weeks. 2 long weeks, at least for mark. he was devastated that donghyuck had been ignoring him for a reason he didn't even know was true. mark had no idea what recordings were sent to donghyuck, but it surely wasn't him.

the script practice went by painfully, since donghyuck would always face the other way and ignore mark. the only time donghyuck would talk to mark was if it in the script. eunji seemed normal.

for donghyuck, it was painful to ignore the one he loved. donghyuck didnt know what to think about the situation at all. he didn't know if the recordings were true, but he wasn't prepared to go ask mark straight up. he really didn't want his previous relationship to repeat, since it hurt him so much.

the bell rang and students came pouring out of the classrooms. jeno ran out of his class and tried to find mark. he managed to find mark in the crowed of people at his locker.

"hey mark."

"oh.. hey."

"could i talk to you for a moment?"

"yeah of course."

mark finished putting all his stuff into his locker and followed jeno to behind the school.

there was a bench and the two went to sit down. mark shuffled in his spot, nervouse to hear what jeno had to tell him.

"there's something i have to tell you, about donghyuck's previous love."

mark just sat there, ready for whatever came out of jeno's mouth.

"donghyuck used to be in a relationship with a guy named jungwoo. they were the cutest together. their relationship was full of trust and respect and they were both honest with each other. it wasn't until a transfer student, whose name is lucas; came to this school as an exchange student and jungwoo was elected to take care of him. from then on their relationship started falling apart until jungwoo was caught cheating on donghyuck with lucas one night. he hasn't been able to fully recover from that. he's been scared to love anyone else after that."

jeno paused and let mark take in everything he had just heard.

"jeno, i had no idea."

"it's alright, i just have a question. do you love donghyuck?"

mark stayed silent, they had exchanged kisses here and there and they had dates; but his mind kept going back to the girl in the car; telling mark she would hurt donghyuck if he fell in love with him.

without even noticing, tears started rolling down his face. jeno noticed and went over to marks side and gave him a hug.

"it's okay, it's okay."

"i don't want to hurt donghyuck."
