Chapter 5

Jennifer's point of view

The weekend was here and the kids were still at Marc's place,so I decided to take my mom on a dinner,we just needed some quality time together. I started telling her about the night that I was crying and thinking about Marc,she didn't like it. She told me that I HAVE to get over him already,he has a girlfriend for a long time now and they would probably get married soon... I told her that I know and she's right but I didn't really care that much. I just miss him more than ever,I miss when he used to call me 'Lola' in his sexy voice,I miss the way we used to kiss,I miss the way we used to sitting by the pool while watching the twins playing and having fun. I just miss it.

She added that I really don't need him right now and I have so much work to do and the last thing I need right now is to get into a relationship with him again,especially when I have my new album coming out soon!!!

I just nodded and told myself that no matter what will happen,even if the sky's were falling down right now I will never ever get back to him. Ever.

And I think god was listening to my mom's and I conversation and just like that,in the middle of fucking nowhere I got a phone call.

I looked at the ID and it was Benny. I answered him and he didn't even say 'Hi' to me or something,I could hear that something has happened because his voice was all nervous.

Benny: 'Jen,listen,did you read or hear anything from what "people" magazine just posted?'

I kinda laughed and said (in a sarcasm way) that of course,I just read a bunch of magazines by them because I have noting else to do in my life!

Benny got upset. He said that it's not funny! It's something serious!

I got panicked,what's wrong? I was wondering... I asked him to take a picture of what he wants me to read because I'm in a middle of a dinner with my mom and a restaurant.

I got a text from Benny and it was a picture, it was a title that was posted in the magazine that says:

"Marc Anthony's girlfriend,was found murdered in a middle of the desert."

I immediately called Benny, I was all panicked as he was. I asked him if this is some kind of sick joke and he answers that unfortunately it's not. It actually happened!

I hung up on him,I couldn't believe what I just read!!!!

The woman that was Marc's girlfriend is now dead. And SOMEONE KILLED HER!

And I then remembered that THE TWINS ARE AT MARC'S PLACE!
I told mom that I have to call Marc and tell him that I'm coming to take them back,I don't want them to know about any of that. Not at the moment.

I called Marc and he picked up.
I heard him talking to another phone saying ' NO! I'm not gonna take a statement at the moment! Can't you just leave me alone?! I hate you All! Fuck you and your stupid magazines!!!!

"Marc? Are you there baby? I just heard about the news. I can't believe it happened,
But like how?! When?! I don't get a single thing!
And I'm coming right away,I wanna take the kids back. They don't need to be at your place right now,it's not good for them."

He agreed and told me that they are already asleep and I need to come ASAP. He had a lot explains to do.

I said that I'm on the way and I'll be there in 1 hour.

After only 1 hour I was at his house,when I was parking my car I saw a few officers walking out and they had handcuffs in their hand. I quickly ran towards Marc panicking and all shaking.

Marc told me to come inside.
I sat on his big sofa in his living room and waited him to start talking.

He opened with this sentence:
"Jen,I'm warning you! All the thing that the press are going to publish soon,these are all bullshit! I didn't so it jen, you gotta believe me ! I have no idea what I'm going to do,you have to help me! Just promise me that."

"I promise Marc,could you please tell me what happened?"
