A Dream

I dreamt. I must, 'cause there was no. way. in HELL. I would have ever returned to that place otherwise.

Too many things had happened here, too many things no one else remembered ,.. No one... only me... The bloodshed, the screams and cries, the agony,... HER!
My blood boiled at the very thought of HER, how could everybody be so blind? Couldn't see the demon in the child? Every one loved her, made friends with her and idolized her after she finally freed us from this cave, the underground, the place we all once called home, the place I seemed to be standing in right know.

Just a nother dream, a nightmare, I thought. Not like I hadn't had my fill of them, even before she first appeared.

But this time was different, this wasn't the underground I had known so many years before. It looked abandoned, eerie.

My eyes drifting over the now overgrown buildings, of the town I once called my home.
Now covered in darkness, only being illuminated by the blue flowers all over the ground. I never thought I would see snowdin without snow... My eyes drifted..

Lost in thoughts I wandered the streets.
Why was I dreaming of this?

Before I could answer myself, a tug in my chest pulled me out of my thoughts, making me aware of the whispers all around me, sounding like wind and echo where trying to form a word, still intelligible, until in an mysteries harmony all echoflowers around me sighed with one word:

Brreeeathe!

With a loud gasp I woke, sitting straight up in my bed,
shivering.
My upside down heartshaped soul banging against my chest like an wild animal on a leash, wanting to be released.
...Why?
What was I so ruffled about ?

I couldn't even consider this dream a nightmare.
Of all the dreams I had in the last few years, this one must have been one of the absolute nicest, not a single drop of blood or pain or other psycho shite I normally had to deal with,...

Furrowing my temple and with a groan I stood up, grabbing my black leather jacket on my way out of my tiny apartment.

My heart still fighting and flapping in my chest, I make my way down the old creaking stairs, rummaging to my pockets till I find the small package I'm looking for, lighting a cig between my teeth.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, the familiar sight of the now (apart from some knockout drunks) empty bar enters my view.

"Morning, Sans " a smooth and flickering voice resounds from the bar.

"Morn' " I grumble, he knows I hate it when he calls me that. "want me to throw out those drunken jerks, before I leave?" I ask with a lopsided grin on my lips.

"Thank you but I think I will manage, wouldn't want to keep you from your own work" he chuckles warmly.

"Funny " a sharp and cold voice answers behind my back "But that's exactly what I'm here for..."

"Hey, Don" I answer unhasty, turning my self around to see the bulky figure in the doorway "What ya want ?" I grined already knowing the answer.

"Reminding ya to keep your nose out of our damn family business " he spits, readying his weapon.

A cold hard chuckle escapes my lips, "Good one... but you know, I wouldn't have to, if you guys hadn't killed an intire family last week" I growl, my eye and hands igniting in a yellow flame.
This is going to be another hell of a day... "let's have some fun... "
