Dragons Den

Taylors POV

Sunrise stood perched on Annakas golden tanned shoulder, she looked so perfect, riding along infront of me, King whinnied happily as i patted his thick neck. Annaka and her horse Misty trampled the wet dirt as we got ever closer to home. I bet she just dreaded it, I dont think she can go back... they think shes dead. I pushed the doubt away and out of my head. This journey hadn't been as long as i thought it would be but whatever, i had Annaka.

CRACK! 

Kings head snapped back as a snake slid around under him, he reared up, throwing me from my firm hold on his mane.

Tossed into the mud, i slid and scrambled furiously to get up and save myself from the snake that was now inspecting me with his dreadful yellow eyes. The snake slithered toward me, its sweeping motion on the ground brought it closer, and closer, and closer. I closed my eyes as the rattlesnake slithered up my leg, getting ready to kill, i couldent watch.

"HELP!" A startleing shriek rang in my ears, i jumped, and looked around realizing that it was me.... it was me who screamed.

Almost seconds after the flap of a pair of wings whoosed in my ears, and I felt the snake that was now on my chest get lifted off me. I looked up,suprize written all over my face as Sunrise flew over the trees with the rattlesnake in her jaws.

The snake lay limp as she twisted angerly in the air throwing the snake farther than either of us could see.

I stared in shock at the dragon flapping her knewly hatched wings strongly in the air, im awe I watched as she landed gracefully on the muddy ground.

"Oh my god!! Are you ok?!!" Annakka called to me worriedly.

"ya I'm ok." I answered weakly.

"Sunrise saved you!!"

"Ya she did.." I said drunkenly before the world around me darkend and I passed out
