Tinignan ko ang itsura ko sa aking rearview mirror ng sasakyan. Pinag masdan ko ng huling beses ang pulang lipstick na aking inilagay at huling nag pulbo na din.

Unang tapak ko sa lapag ay agad naman ang kinang ng mga camera at kasabay ang libo libong tanong.
"Miss skyler! Who are you with today?"
"Skyler De La Vega what are you wearing?"
"Are you rejoicing your wins with drinks?"
" Kelan ang sunod na laban?"
The cameras and questions followed me until I reached the entrance of Sirens where the bouncers immediately blocked them off.
As soon as I came in the signature of cigarettes, alcohol and the booming music was there and of course a view of thousand bodies on the dance floor.
Sirens was a highly exclusive club and the rich came here along with celebrities and artists thats why the place was secured. Aside from the fact that I knew I was safe here this was my favorite club in the city.
Tumigil ako ng sandali at hinanap ang mga kaibigan ko at nakita kong nasa usual lounge sila in the most private part of the club. Mga bilyonaryo lamang at high officials ang tanging nakaka pasok rito para mag renta ng mauupuan.
My family and my friends were banking tons of zero's it wasn't a secret. Our faces were plastered everywhere and being a famous badminton player made the tabloids more crazier about are circle.
"Everybody! Skyler's fucking here! Shot cuz!" Ni lahad ng pinsan ko na si Kelsea ang shot ng Jose Cuervo sa harap ko at walang tanging ininom agad to. Napapikit ako sa init naramdaman ko sa aking lalamunan. Gosh, I missed this.
"Alright! Let's get this party started! We are finally complete! Claire! Dance with me!" Sigaw niya raising both hands in the air at tumalon talon pa.
Napailing nalang sa kalalagyan niya. She's always been a lightweight and im sure she's drunk.
"Really Kelsea? Im an hour late and you're already drunk! Pano tayo mag bar hopping niyan?" I said putting the shot glass down the table.
She only grinned at me and grabbed Claire's hand " Oh shush! My dear cuz trust me when I say I'm going to last till your last drink tonight besides the drinks on you!!" hindi na ako naka sagot dahil nag tungo na sila sa dance floor hila-hila ang kumakaway na si Claire.
Uminom pa ako ng Cuervo at napa pikit sa init na dumaloy sa lalamunan ko ulit.
It's been a while since I last drank alcohol. I've been in tournaments for months and I only had a beer or two to relax myself in the upcoming games plus coach would be furious if I was out having fun on tournament nights.
"Well it certainly is good to see you back here Sky. While you were hitting shuttlecocks, we were getting hit by some alcohol."
Napatingin ako sa harap ko at nakita ang pinsan kong si Damon draping an arm over some woman I don't know. A toy for the night probably.
"New toy Damon? What happened to what's her name again? Haley? Hannah? Hazelle?"
Na pa bitaw ang babae sa katawan ni Damon at napasimangot." babe, who the hell is Hannah or Hazelle or whatever the hell she said?" sabi ng toy niya habang inakusa ang kanyang daliri sa akin.
Ngumisi lamang ako at nag sip ng alak sa nakalakahad sa table.
Hmm. jack daniels. My favorite
Kaysa mainis sa akin si Damon ay ngumiti lamang siya ng pag kayabang yabang at ininom ang whiskey na hawak niya.
