Chapter 10

Second POV:

"Huh..."

"Well, you heard me. And you agreed to the deal, so make sure to keep your word!" She walks into her house and leaves you out there confused.

When you got home, you were able to convince yourself; the deal wasn't serious. What could (F/N) do now to change things. Yes, she and Oikawa have gotten a lot closer, but she wouldn't just walk to him and tell him that they should date... Would she?

The next few days were tranquil. (F/N) wouldn't talk to you, or sit with you. Suga and Daichi were worried about the both of you. However, you reassured them that everything is fine.

Best friends fight from time to time. It's normal. You disagree with each other about something, and a little argument starts. It happens all the time.

You don't remember saying anything that bad to (F/N) to make her avoid you or not talk to you. But you weren't about to just talk to her like YOU were the one who did something wrong... 'She was all up in my business...' You thought to yourself as you walked home alone... Again.

You couldn't talk about it with Iwaizumi since if you tell him why you were fighting or not talking; you would be telling him about the feelings you have for him that you have been trying to hide for so long.

Daichi and Suga tried to help, but you still didn't want to tell them about your feelings, so they couldn't really help. You told your mom... She was no help... She agreed with (F/N) about confessing and getting it over with.

So you were basically all alone in this.

From time to time during the week, you went to the arcade to get yourself out of this gloomy mood. Tanaka, Noya, and Hinata would join sometimes and play with you. They would always back out when it comes to the dance machine. Tanaka was the only one to take on your challenges.

"Why do you always win (Y/N)!" Tanaka is always frustrated after a loss. At least that means he takes the challenges seriously.

"I've been playing it since I was a kid. It would suck if I weren't this good after all this time haha!" It became like some sort of tradition to go for ice cream after the arcade. It was always so satisfying.

Days with Tanaka, Noya, and Hinata were always crazy and loud, that's why they were the best to cheer you up or whenever you feel hyper and need someone to share your energy.

At the end of the week, the night before the weekend, (F/N) comes over and shares some news with you that you were hoping would never happen. For now anyway.

"What did you just say?"

"I said, Oikawa and I are dating. We got together yesterday and spent the day together, that's why I didn't tell you."

"Right... Well, congrats! I'm happy for you!" You try to make the subject all about her and the big news.

"Thanks! I'm happy for you too!"

"What do you mean?"

"You're going to confess to Iwaizumi! That's good news!" You were hoping she would have forgotten all about that.

"Listen, about that..."

"Great! I'll give you till Monday to prepare yourself!" She starts walking towards the door.

"(F/N)..."

"It was a deal; you don't tell him on Monday, I will!" And she leaves...

'Oh Fuck!! I'm screwed!!'

She told you and gave you time to prepare... But what are you supposed to prepare?! How do you prepare for something like this...

Monday came faster than anything! Of all the times the weekend seems long, this one seemed like it didn't even happen. Of course, the idea of running away came to mind, but you know how crazy (F/N) was. You knew she would find Iwaizumi easily and tell him if you don't...
