Not Again!

"AERITH HELLLLLLOOOOOOO!!! EARTH TO AERITH!" I was trying desperately to snap her out of whatever trance she was in. It didn't seem to work though. The strange thing wasn't that though, it was the fact that the wolf had completely stopped also. As if mimicking Aerith. I don't know maybe I'm just insane. Why do I even care if she moves now anyways!.... maybe it's because I promised to protect her? Maybe it's because we are supposed to be friends? I will never figure it out. 

After some time of sitting and contemplating on what my life has come to I finally decide to wait for Aerith to snap back to reality. I get bored though so I pull out my gold and silver pocket watch. I still remember when I got this... before I could stop it a memory started.

"Oh Jackson leave the chicken alone." My mother scolds me as if  I was the devil.

"But mwom it was hurtin te flowers!" My 3 year old self complained endlessly. 

"I've never met a boy who showed so much interest in plants, I mean they're strange barley alive things that don't deserve anything," it was the strange man... Lucas I think his name was.

"Shut up Lucas he's trying his best he doesn't have much friends so leave him alone," my mom was always trying to protect me from Lucas. I didn't understand it, he was my dads friend..... that is before he passed.

"Yea, yea, whatever. Did you hear?  That Calem kid disappeared! Poor Liza, and lil Aerith, I mean she's only 3." Lucas states with sincere concern.

"Why don't you go talk to them then, instead of sitting here maybe  you should get assigned to her house."  My mom states with a bitterness to her tone.

"Ok, it's better then flower boy," Lucas snarls, then he gets up and leaves us.

"Mummy  I want to pway wit flowers," I state not noticing that she was crying.

"Go ahead son get as many as you wish," after she said that I ran straight into the garden and started digging up flowers. I was digging at the roots of an Orchid when my hand hit a small gold thingy. I tug at it only to reveal the rest of a pocket watch. Half of it gold and half of it silver.  That's when I hear a small yelp behind me. I slowly turn around only to be greeted by a little wolf pup. 

"Hi twere I'm Jwac...." I get cut off by a strange voice.

"Oh little Jackson, you found your gift earlier then the rest of them, any how seeing as your so young I'll explain it simply every time you want the plants to do something think of what you want them to do and touch the watch, it will then happen." The strange voice says then disappears, I do as I'm told and think about hundreds of orchids just popping up, I touch the face of the watch and it happens. I sit down and play, all of a sudden the flowers go up in flames, I'm taken back to my garden. I walk up to my mom and she's totally surprised saying that I've been gone for at least a month, how much I scared her, and where have I been. I didn't even know I was gone for that long. 

The man wasn't there, so he wasn't coming back... I was angry at whoever his new family is but happy that they got to live with a good man... or what I saw as a good man.

That's where the memory stops. I look around me and see that I'm not where I was just a minute ago. I'm in a field of hundreds of orchids. Just like when I summoned them the first time. I didn't know what was happening, then I hear that strange voice. "Jackson, you have grown up, a lot. I guess I don't have to explain your powers to you, instead let me inform you of something you must keep secret. Understand?" I nod quickly "good, do you remember Lucas? Well he is the head now, of those evil men. They are after you and you must stop them somehow. They know all about the magic you and the rest have. They will try and take it. But you must protect your friends, and in order to do that you must train, stay here and work hard.

Just like before the voice disappeared.

Nala is attached to me like glue... I have no clue what is going on right now and I've practically died twice trying too live today. Ok I know I can't be crazy.... right? First Aerith freezes and we get chased by wolves, now Selena is frozen after we got chased by wolves again.... maybe I am crazy.

  Just then more wolves advance towards us. These wolves are different though. They are red and yellow and all sorts of orange shades. This frightened me but I couldn't let Nala know. I had to be brave for her. 

I pulled Nala behind me to protect her, no matter what they were not going to take her away.  I hear the scream first, then I see the purple streaks. More wolves. lilac ones, magenta ones, all shades of purple rushed in and mixed in with the color of the red wolves fur. Little did I know that those colors would be the last thing I see for days...

I felt Michael go tense. But he doesn't see it, at least I don't think he does. All the colors dancing. It wasn't a good dance, it was like purple and red swimming in a whirpool motion all around us. I couldn't even make out the ravenous beast underneath the ravished sight. I don't know how long we stood there watching, waiting. I don't know what happened to Aerith, or Selena, not even Jackson. But I was tired. Very.... Tired.

~~~Hey guys so sorry that it has been a while since I updated, I know that Nala and Michaels was short compared to Jackson but later on in the book I have something special planned for those two. Also I am going to start a new book. But you guys get to chose what the subject is.
