New Kids pt. 3

LUKE 

Damnit! I thought after getting punched by my mate. I couldn't speak, it was like something went numb within me and my mind went blank.

"Always," Aiden says as we watch my mate walk away, "Always the girl I like..."

My voice returns, "Dude, this time wasn't even my choice!"

Aiden chuckles, "I know, man. We're even anyways."

I look back at my brother confused, "How?"

"You made yourself look like an idiot in front of Mika and you got punched by her," Aiden laughs out, "Yeah, we're good."

My wolf gives Aiden a warning growl— he's not one to laugh at.

Calm down. He's just teasing, I tell my inner wolf.

I am his alpha, he shouldn't be laughing at me, my wolf replies.

And we are his brother. Brother's laugh at each other, I reply before returning to Aiden's blabbering.

I see a perfect picture of my mate in my mind— her black hair falling out of its messy bun and flowing around her long perfect face. Her eyes have a sparkle in them, making her chocolate brown eyes seem like candy.

"If you're going to daydream about her, could you at least put up your block," Aiden says, cutting me out of my daydream.

I feel my ears heat up and I simply nod.

*         *         *         *         *         *         *         *         *

It is about 11:45pm and I'm standing in the woods outside Mika's home. At least I'm a good distance away from her balcony, so she can't see me but I can see hear. Yes, the first stage of stalking begins early but it's not like my wolf was going to let me leave her be. I can hear her talking to her friends about school and me.

"I heard Luke's hot!" one friend says.

Mika giggles, "He is...he has this messy hair that makes you want to touch it to see if it's gelled."

"OOOOO!! MIMI HAS A CRUSH!" Her friends chime together laughing.

I feel a grin form on my face, it's all natural babe.

"How can I have a crush on someone I just met. And he's not much of a talker...like mute...I don't think I can handle that," Mika says throwing her throw pillows to a corner of her room.

Your fault, I accuse my wolf and he simply yawns in reply.

"What about Aiden?" another friend asks.

I raise an eyebrow, I think Aiden has a crush too. I hear Mika say that my brother is a teddy bear to her and how he seems like a really nice person. Mika teases her friend and they eventually say their good nights.

I watch as Mika presses play on her iHome and she starts doing defense moves and working out. After a few minutes, Mika stops and walks onto her balcony. As if she could feel me watching her, she looks into the woods and I step behind a tree.

How could she? You're the only one here that can see at this distance, my smart mouth wolf states.

I look back out to her balcony and she had closed the balcony doors and turned off her lights. I use my keen hearing to hear her low snores.

My Mika.

Our Mika, my wolf corrects.

"Yeah, our Mika," I roll my eyes at my wolf and start heading home— even though my wolf and I didn't want to.

Hey, Guys (and girls...I'm not sexist, I promise)!! Sorry I posted later this week, I was actually taking an Drawing Intesive class to begin the start of college in  the Fall better but it took up most of my time. BUT it was only for a week so I will be on time with my posts again *right hand raised* I solemnly swear *wink*.

Soo...What you think? Kinda' cute? Funny? Weird? I will be putting up a new COVER soon and when I do, I'm hoping to have some comments on what you guys think of the new cover vs. the old cover?
