Chantelle's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, it was 7:45. The reason I was getting up so early was because today was my first day at school! I'm actually looking forward to going only because I've been running out of things to do and it gets boring staying home, at least I will make some new friends.

I went down and made my self a bowl of cereal, and went up to have a shower.. I got out and found a missed message from nash. What could he possibly want?

"Hey Chantelle! Do you want a ride to school today? I'll show you around and help you get in?"

I realised I didn't know really how to get there and my mum was asleep so I guess I had no choice

"Okay.. Thanks you don't have to tho, what time will you be here"

"I'll be there in 10 mins!"

I wasn't really sure and was having second thoughts, I guess it's too late now. Why was I being so insecure about nash? Is it just because he didn't take me to the date because he was busy? God I was being an idiot

I ran up to my room and put on a white short sleeve shirt.. Along with my checkered skirt which went down in between my knees and thighs and my red converses, & white knee high socks. I guess it was a school girl theme if you could say that & my hair into two plaits to the sides.

I applied light makeup, mascara, lip stick and a moisturising cream. I grabbed my bag which had an exercise book, my pencil case & water bottle.

I heard a beep from outside, that must be Nash. I Said bye to my mum and headed out the door

"Hey Chantelle how are you?"

"I'm good thank you, we haven't spoken in ages"

"I wouldn't consider a couple days 'ages' " he teased

Awkward.. I honestly thought it had been weeks lol

I look up to him and examine what he's wearing, he had a blue tye dye t-shirt on with denim shorts and black vans. Boy did that kid like vans, he had like 50 different coloured pairs of vans! He had a back pack too, but it was those 'cool' backpacks I guess that hang low of the back.

Nashs POV:

Well the ride has been quiet, she hasn't said a word for about 5 minutes now, what is she thinking? I decided to break the awkwardness

"So you excited?"

"We'll it's school, but yeah I guess it's better than hanging around at home all the time ah"

I decided to give her some friendly helpful advice

"So Chantelle there's a things you need to know if you wanna survive the year.."

"Um okay?"

"There are a lots of jerks and mean people. The girls have groups and act all cool where the boys are rough and idiots"

I didn't know if I was making sense but she was listening carefully

"Anyway I'll show you around since we're 15 minutes early & ill help you out"

"Thank you Nash"
