1- It was  a Monday. A rather strange case has come up. Which is not new. They have been encountering really weird and unexpected cases. The SID cannot all go investigate together. The hollows need continues supervision and anything coming in their way should be thoroughly investigated. So chief Zhao thought that it would be good if he and Shen would stay back and let the others split in groups of two to investigate the case and its clue.
"You lin jing and journalist ,go check on all the cctvs in the location or maybe further. Hong and Da qing go question the victim's relative, Chu and guo go to the crime scene and look for evidence. Okay good luck"yunlan dismisses them . He and Shen looks at how eager chu and guo are to work with each other."They are so getting closer"Shen remarks and they both stare at them leave to do their task at hand.
Chu still remembers how annoyed he was at guo when he first came . He thought guo was a spoiled and rich heartless kid who doesn't deserve to be in SID. But now as he thinks about it guo has taught him a lot unintended. How he forgives and forgets,how he loves unconditionally and gives importance to others happiness. Chu could feel his heart beat erratically.
"Chu ge ,why are you standing there . We have to go or else chief is gonna get angry"guo's soft voice wakes chu from his thoughts.
He just gives guo his rare smile and they walk to their destination.
Guo is happy that chu smiles a lot now. When he came he was always cold and distant. He scared him. He always got paired with him and guo started enjoying the big popsicles company. Maybe guo likes him more than the others but he dare say that loud .
They reach the crime scene and walk slowly as if on alert. They enter a white room. It was eerily clean for a crime scene. The victim was hanged right in the center where now hangs a single rope. Ther is only one piece of furniture a stool. There is only one shelf on the wall.
"Chu ge ,this is really weird why is this room so empty and scary. It seems like there are ghosts here"guo trembles as his dark energy detector starts blinking.
"Its okay,let's keep looking for anything."Chu says . They both starts walking in opposite direction. They look everywhere but nothing catches their eyes.
"It looks like he was killed somewhere and brought here. There are no footprints or fingerprints "Chu says and guo rights it down. "Might be from the crow tribe,the suspect" chu says .
"Wow,you are really good gege"guo compliments . Chu felt really happy and proud. He has only heard guo compliment yunlan. He felt too good for words.
"Why don't we see what's up there ge"guo asks to chu. He proceeds to use the stool to reach there.
"Wait."chu says and taps the stool and it crumbles into pieces. They look at each other and then around the room.
"They wanna hurt us"guo says lightly looking down. He wasn't feeling too good.
"Hey .we won't leave without seeing what's up there"chu says as he pats him.
"Come let me lift you up"chu says. Chu doesn't know why he is doing that . He clearly is not like this why is he acting so weird around him. While guo is dying. Getting picked up by his crush . No way . He was feeling worst now . But he doesn't wanna anger the popsicle.
He walks closer to chu and faces him. Chu smiles at him. Chu is weirded out by how much he smiles and laughs nowadays. Strange.
Chu lifts guo from under his butt.Guo closes his eyes in anticipation. When he opens it he can clearly see the shelf. But there is nothing but a piece of paper.Guo keeps one hand around  chu's neck and uses the other to pick the paper.
"You will die" guo reads it aloud . Oh that'd weirAAAH."It said that I will die"he screams and jiggles in chu's grasp.
THUD
They both fall on the floor . Guo landing on top of chu.  Their faces inches apart.
Their eyes widen as they realise how close they are . Their breath mingle and becomes one in the space between them. Chu is having an heartattack. Guo is having double the heartattack.
Chu looks at guo intensely.He has actually never seen him so close. He has really beautiful eyes. His face is angular and nose  is so cute. Chu gaze lowers to guo's lips .
Wow ,he has such a pretty lips. He slowly brings his hand to caress the lips.
Guo is taken aback but the touch was so delicate that he melts away and sighs.
Oh.
They both finally understand the situations and gets up quickly dusting their clothes. They clear their throats and look at each other.
"Let's head back since we didn't get anything solid"chu speaks first and guo just nods weakly.
Chu is confused why he felt very mushy back then and what just happened between them.  He choose to ignore the loud thumping of his heart and butterflies in his stomach and thought it was mere signs of how tired he is.
While in the front guo feels his lips where chu has previously touched. What does that mean. He could not find a reason why he did it but his crush was just growing dangerously.
