eleven: dizzy"oh my god, it's actually him!" chaeyoung punched jisoo in the shoulder once they entered the kitchen.
"nah, you don't say." jisoo punched her back, rubbing her shoulder from the hit.
"imagine how it would be. living with our boss." chaeyoung suddenly giggled, stirring the pot faster.
"yah, watch it." jisoo warned and she instantly began to slow down. "you sound so cliché."
"oh shut up. go set the table for me." chaeyoung said.
"what? but he's in there." jisoo whispered.
"so? are you nervous?" chaeyoung furrowed her eyebrows.
"ugh, leave me alone." jisoo rolled her eyes. she grabbed the cutlery and placed that on the tray along side 4 glasses of water.
"are you sure you can carry that?" chaeyoung asked, already beginning to plate the dishes.
"yeah, i'm cool." jisoo nodded and proceeded to carry the tray to the dining table.
jimin and taehyung sat on the couch, conversing about jimin's new found hobby, taekwondo.
"so you feel better, right?" jisoo heard taehyung say.
"yeah. it's like my shoulders feel lighter. if you get what i'm saying." jimin explained.
"wow, i'm proud of you man." taehyung attacked him with a bear hug.
"ah, hyung!" jimin whined, struggling to get taehyung off of him. jisoo laughed at the sight, a warm fuzzy feeling building up inside of her. she placed the cutlery and glasses of water in their rightful places in front of each seat. she went back to the kitchen to help chaeyoung with the food.
carrying two bowls each, they put them down on the table. "dinners ready!" chaeyoung announced. taehyung followed jimin to the table, taking a seat beside him.
"i see you two are quite the pair." jisoo pointed to the two boys.
"he's really cute." taehyung said.
"i'm not cute." jimin frowned. "i'm manly." he said whilst flexing his muscles.
"you look like a chicken." jisoo laughed.
"hey! you old woman." jimin retorted, stuffing his face a little more to make him look like a chipmunk.
chaeyoung giggled. "so, mr kim. why did you decide to move in?" chaeyoung wondered.
he placed his chopsticks down. his face showing that he's a little uncomfortable talking about it.
"you don't have to answer." chaeyoung quickly said, noticing the uncertainty written on his face.
"no, you should know. i recently divorced, so i've living in that house alone for a little while. my sister also recently got married and i figured it'd just be best to give the house to her since there's too many memories there." he said, his voice grumbly and deep.
"ah." jisoo nodded. "well, i hope you find it better here."
"i hope so too." he gave a small smile. "also, just call me taehyung now that we are going to be living under the same roof."
this sudden overwhelming feeling overtook jisoo. her head whirling and sweat forming on her forehead. the palms of her hands turned clammy and sticky. she started to shake, shivering as if she was placed in the middle of antarctica. losing feeling in her hand, she dropped her chopsticks, the metallic sound echoing, alerting the rest.
"are you okay?" jimin asked her.
"yeah, just a little dizzy. i'll be going up first. sorry." she grabbed her plate and placed that in the sink before heading upstairs.
