The next several days at his office Jiyong was not in the mood for anything. Little things makes him snapped.
It's been a month now and he's turning out to be a cold blooded tyrant both in business world and women.
"Oh yes! Yes! Aaah! You're so good at this. Aaah!"
Jiyong was just pumping fast and hard with no feelings whatsoever to one of the woman he just met at the bar. He just took that woman at the back of the building for some quick release. As soon as he was done with her he took out the condom and just tossed it somewhere. He pulled up his pants and zipped it up leaving the woman weak and in dazed. Just before getting into his car the woman yelled.
"Will I ever see you again?"
Jiyong just gave her a blank look with an arrogant smirked without saying anything he drove off. That was his routine for the past few months now.
He would be going out of the country for business and to look for Yu Na for weeks at a time for the past four months.
==========================
Another Six Months later:Jiyong woke up with a headache. He went straight to the bathroom to shower. He was already fixing himself a cup of coffee when his doorbell rang.Upon looking at his camera monitor and seeing who it was made him a little bit nervous.
"Sweetheart. Have you been avoiding me? I have been trying to reach you for a week now but you never did responded."
"I'm so sorry mom. It's just been really hectic for me this last few days at work. But I did talk to you just a couple of weeks ago."
"Are you sure? You don't look so good though. Have you been sick lately?"
She went and touched his face concern showing in her eyes.
"No mom. I'm okay. Just tired. How about you and dad?"
"We're good. Why haven't you come to visit us this last several months? Is there something that your dad and I should be concerned about?" Sitting down on the couch she studied her son. He looks worn out and she's sure that there's something that he's not telling her.
"You and dad knows that business takes a lot of my time. But I do call you often. Is there something wrong with you and dad?"
"No sweetheart. Nothing's wrong. But I do have something to discuss with you about. Since it's been more than six months since we last talked about your arrange marriage."
Jiyong shook his head and closed his eyes. He didn't realized that it's been that long already. He was so absorbed into doing with a lot of things including going out of the country for business and looking for Yu Na. He remembered the last conversation he had with Yu Na.
"The sooner you get married the sooner I will return to you. I'm willing to be your mistress. We can continue our relationship."
Jiyong did not realize that his mom's been calling him.
"Sorry mom. I was just thinking of something. So when do you want the wedding to happen? The sooner the better for me." He's slowing down to look for her for now. Maybe she means what she said. That she will only come back once he's married.
Mrs. Kwon was stunned for a moment. His son is finally agreeing to marry her best friend's daughter.
"Oh okay. Well...are you sure about this? What about her condition?"
"Don't worry mom I will discuss it with her. So how about in two weeks? Do you think that will be enough time for a wedding day?"
Mrs. Kwon hugged her son with happiness and kissed his cheek.
"Oh sweetheart. Yes two weeks shouldn't be a problem. I will personally make all the arrangements." She then happily left telling him that she will need to work fast.
==========================
"Wait, what?! In two weeks? That's not enough time mom. Wedding usually takes months, no not even...a year at least to prepare. Are they out of their mind?"
"Honey. Relax. We're talking about marriage in Korea here. It's different over there. Plus aunt Shinhye said that we don't even have to worry about anything. That everything has been taken care of. All you need to bring is your wedding gown."
Dara can't help to massage the side of her temple feeling confused and agitated. This can't be happening to her. Two freaking weeks then she'll be married. But then again it's been closed to a year since they have been discussing about it. She's surprised that it actually took this long, she's not like she's complaining or anything.
"Honey isn't it a perfect timing and all? You were supposed to go to Korea next week might as well stay until your wedding."
"You make it sound so easy mom. We still haven't really discussed the whole thing yet. I need to talk to him about our living arrangement amongst other things and which country are we going to live in? I would preferred living here though because I know nothing about Korea and to be honest I'm kind of scared."
"Honey remember that I will also be moving there with you. May not be at the same house but I will find a place closer to you just in case you need me. I can also show you around. But first I have to take care of things here for you as you settle yourself there. So I don't want you to stress out on anything."
Dara could only nod as she gave her mother a tight hug.
She can't sleep that night after talking to her mom. Two weeks and she'll be a married woman. She's very nervous of what the outcome would be for she knows nothing about the person she's going to marry. She only remembered bits and pieces about meeting him the last time.
Flashback:
"Hello Dara. This is our son Jiyong and he's eighteen years old. Why don't you and him talk so that you can get to know each other?" Aunt Shinhye smilingly said.
As both Dara and Jiyong went out the foyer at Dara's apartment neither one was saying anything.
Dara at that time was wearing her glasses because she just got measured for her to start wearing contacts. She noticed that Jiyong is very aloof and has an aura of a spoiled brat bad boy which she really hates the most.
"Uhmm...so what grade are you in?" She automatically asked in English because she could only speak broken Korean. Her mother tried so hard to teach her but gave up altogether as she reached middle school. But she can definitely understand it though just speaking is a bit of an issue.
Jiyong just gave her a blank stare and she had misunderstood it that he didn't understand what she just asked him. So she tried it in her broken Korean language.
But he just laughed at her face and out of the blue he just quickly kissed her on her lips which took her by surprise and told her the meanest words.
"Hey you. First of...I speak fluent English and Korean so conversing with you is not a problem. What my problem is I don't f**ing want to talk to you. If you f**ing don't know anything about me what makes you think that I will tell you anything." After saying that he just left her feeling dumbfounded.
End of Flashback:
Dara's blood was boiling in anger at that time because he just stole her first kiss but she couldn't retaliate because she was trying to be nice for her mom. Little did they know that both mothers were already planning their arrange marriage in the future. Yup. Her mother finally confessed it.
