Florences Pov.
The summer of 1829. All had been peaceful in the forest since November 11th, my birthday. Nobody dared to set foot in here, it seemed far too dangerous. For now.

It was three years ago when my mother abandoned me here, three years since I found my true family. Everyday I would mark each day, so I was aware of what day it was. I've never really talked to them, but I have named the two bears. There is one female bear, with a small scar on her back, her name is Lilah, she reminds me of a nice cottage warmed up by a nice glowing fire, and she smells like flowers. The other bear is slightly bigger, he's named Rain, because he smells of the rain, he's a big protective sweetheart. They both tried to catch fish for me, but I've eaten the plants that have grown here in the bears forest. I've friended some of the deers and birds in this forest, I hope to make more friends.

In the past time I sing little songs that remind me of my father or of the bears. Sometimes I think I should try to go back to the people, but they wouldn't want me back. I thought over the things that I did, I was selfish and stupid and didn't realize my mistakes. If I could redo everything I would, but then I would be stuck with that woman and her insensitive husbands. I wonder if she regretted what she did or not. I hope she got a man that made her happy.

My clothes still fit from three years ago, but I made clothes out of the natural materials of the forest, so I could have a gown for when I wash my dress.

Dancing or singing with the birds has become a habit, it makes me happy, more happy then I have ever been. I learned to climb a tree, it helps me look at the stars. Its beautiful in the forest, there are no roads or busy streets. Just nature.

Sometimes I regret what I did. Maybe I could have had a husband or a job. I do fancy flower picking, but no one values women anymore. I found a book washed up by the river about Cleopatra, she was a greek woman ruling egypt. Ill be the ruler of the forest.

Nothing very interesting happens here, but that makes it peaceful.

It was a rainy summer day today. I was walking along the river in my long white dress that was freshly cleaned yesterday with fresh water river and leaves. It was a little damp from the rain, but it felt nice on my skin.

The pitter patter of the rain was soothing. I sat down by the edge of the river and closed my eyes to focus on the rain. I sat there swinging my legs slowly over the edge of the river for a couple minutes, I could tell because I was counting the seconds.

I got up and passed through the trees back to the bears caves when something caught my long red hair. It was just a branch, but something was stuck on it. There was a piece of fabric. I took it and then ran back to the cave.

There were three horses with three men upon them, who all looked around my age. I was behind a tree so I observed them without them noticing. One man had light brown hair with eyes a stunning shade of blue, he had a tiny scar on his chin. One other had wavy black hair with light green eyes, he was more "boyish" then the others. The last one looked the oldest, he was tanner then the others, he had black hair with some beard stubble, he had dark brown, worried eyes.

Then I remembered, the bears. All three men were infront of the growling bears, they were stuck in a corner. I started to worry. Were they going to try to kill the bears? They looked threatened. I try getting closer to them to get a better look. But I step on a twig. All five of them snap their heads towards me, all of them were staring straight at me.
