Entry #?????? P ????
Sad that I lost track of my entries, I'll have to count them later, but come to think of it, my name is kind of self explaining! I know, Red, nice name. My folks gave it to me because of my dumb bright ginger hair, I'm just thankful they didn't name me Orange or something. Crescent gave me orders to take care of this little girl, and One told me she was very important and if she ended up hurt, Crescent herself would put me through the Metal Beams.I finished writing in my log book and placed it under my bed and stood up. Looking in the mirror, I saw my big, blue eyes and bright orange hair, sticking up in some places. Putting my hair up into a ponytail and slipping on my leather side bag, I walked back over to my top bunk with the girl in it. "Hey kid. Come on, get up." I poked the little girls pale green coat.
We walked out into the hallways towards the Dinning room. "Hey, miss?" The little girl asked me. "Hm?" "What's your name?" "Red."
We reached the Dining room and sat down. After a couple of minuets, a tall girl with pitch black hair that faded into a bright yellow sat in front of me. "Ah, Red. I see you have met Penny." She gestured the girl. "Crescent told me to watch her. She seems very protective of her though." I said. "So kiddo, This is Butterscotch." I looked down at 'Penny'. "Hello... Butterscotch..." Penny said, taking her small, light brown arms off the table, as if to recoil in disgust. "Ah! Long time no see, isn't it? Did you miss me at all?" Butterscotch leaned towards Penny. "Hey hey, what's going on?" I waved my hand in front of Butterscotches face. "Oh, nothing Red, it's just- I can't help but wonder why... 'Crescent' left your dead and cold body?" Butterscotch moved my hand out of the way and scowled at Penny. "What do you mean 'Crescent'? Do you disagree with her?" I growled at her. Of course she does! She's just preobally to comfortable with her! She's been with Crescent forever! I told myself.A loud, but soft, bing suddenly sounded through out the now filled cafeteria and a soft and kind sounding voice said "Good morning everybody! I hope you all had a good nights sleep! Today, we have scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, a variety of fruits and drinks! The weather for the park is scheduled to be mostly cloudy with a light drizzle and a thunderstorm later on ton-..." Heather Weatherbee, Crescents announcer, suddenly cut off mid sentence and we herd mumbling. People started to talk amongst themselves. Heather came back on, "Later on today, Crescent would like to personally speak with, Red 62518, and Penny."
She kept resumed talking about todays news and I looked over at Penny who was staring at the many small, blue lit, screens that glowed on the smooth, pale blue, glass table, "Hey, shrimp, you heard what Weatherbee said?" I looked down at Penny. "What is this!?" She sounded absolutely shocked and frightened at the screen. Butterscotch burst out into laughter "Hah! You don't know what a computer is!?" She pointed at Penny, pinging in what brekfeast she wanted. I typed in some Bacon, Apple Juice, and a banana. "Yeah junior, what rock have you been living under! Computers have been around for like, thousands of years!" I added. "What!? I-I! WHAT IS THIS?! I don't understand!!!" Penny screamed. Many people where staring at us now. People started muttering and glancing at Penny. "I don't understand! I-is this like, Mario?!" Penny started to calm down a bit. "Mario? Oh yeeeah!!! Hey kiddo! Why don't you tell Red what year you think it is!" Butterscotch said as her plate of Pancakes arrived. My food arrived and I started to eat. "It's 1979! Duh!" Penny said. I spit out my food all over the girl sitting in front of me and screamed "YOU THINK ITS 1979!?!?!" At this point, everybody was staring at me and nobody said a word. Some girl shouted "Say what about 1979?" And another yelled "This kids ancient!" Not waiting another moment, I grabbed some bacon, handed it to Penny and sped out the door with Butterscotch following behind with pancakes stuffed in her mouth. "Umph- ur gomma gep ip! Crefenp isnp a nife perfon when fe amgy!" Butterscotch mumbled through the pancakes. "Well, you should know! Why are you around us anyways? Your 5! I'm 62518! I'm a nobody!" I looked behind me. As we made our way through the long halls, trying to figure out where Crescents office was, Butterscotch finished her pancakes and said, "Well, you see bud, 'Crescent' said to kill you if I found Penny dead!" "What!? R-really?!" I stuttered, "Nah! Just kidding! She liked your Tux and stockings, so she sent me to get you." She pointed at my black Tuxedo, black short-shorts, and my white stockings with black lace around them. Oh wooow *clap* ... *clap*... I thought. "Ugh. Well, be quiet, I'm trying to find the Red Hall." I said to the two behind me. I looked to the left, blue... blue... blue again! Then right bluuue... bluuuuueeee... -ah! Red! "Ah! Here!" I said, pointing at the Red Hallway. "Oh, I could have shown that to you, if you asked." Butterscotch went to her room. "He Silver Hall is tho the left." She said before shutting the door. After finding Crescents room, I fixed up my posture, made sure my hair was strait and my clothes where clean. Urging Penny to do so too, the silver door slid open and One was standing there, with a pencil sharpener and a white eraser. "M-miss! Good morning One, you called me and the child?" I politely said. "PENNY." A bold voice corrected me. One, putting her long, brown hair behind her ear, opened the door for us.
A tall woman with a glowing aqua colored Visor stood up from a large bed that was placed in the middle of the blue lit room.
Crescents office was more amazing than I ever imagined, it was less of an office, more like a bedroom though! Penny shrank behind me, afraid of the tall brunette who started to walk twards her, she fixed her long, black cloak and walked over to Penny. "Hello, Penny. I hope it doesn't disappoint you that the lizards didn't evolve into dinosaurs like I said they would if we breed them right." She said, her voice strained. "H-H-HEYOO!" I nervously greeted Crescent, not many soldiers ever even see Crescent in person, let alone be invited into her office! I covered my mouth and mumbled my apologies. One walked over to Crescent and grabbed an orange and white plastic card out of her cloak, the cloak looked the same as Crescents, except it had a red lining around the hood, and a red star with four dashed under it stitched into the chest. She handed Crescent the card and asked if she should get bandages. Just then, I realized there was a large slash mark on Crescents throat. And how in the world did a big gash like that get their?! I wondered. Crescent asked Penny, "Do you remember me? I'm sorry I ran off... it's all my fault! Judy and Ash where devastated when they received the news!"
This surprised me, I was used to knowing Crescent as a cold, unemotional leader who never faltered, but she started to cry!
Penny looked at Crescent in shock and said, "Quinn?" "YES! Yes! -That's me Penny! -Quinn!" She hugged Penny and stood up. "Where is Ash? And my parents?" She looked up at Crescent. I started to back up and One grabbed my arm, motioning me into a chair, offering me tea, she said "Don't be uncomfortable here. Your just as important as a 1001 here... we only assign numbers to make it easy. 1015 Isn't no less important than 20124600." She poured me tea and she sighed. "We brought you here because your design was actually based on one of Quinn's favorite childhood games! Oh- and no one can know Crescents name is Quinn, it would seem... disrespectful, I guess, and I'm Scarlet." she said. Wowzers! So your entire look is based off of a game avatar thousands of years ago? And what does she mean by 'my design'?
"What do you mean by 'my design'" I asked. "Hm? Oh! Oh dear! Oh jeez! Ooohhhh man! Quuiiinnn!!!!" She screeched Jeezums! I never knew they where crazy!
