*Emma's POV*

Amelia's confession and how calmly she had stated that she was going to run away had me thrown. She looked dead serious when she said and I knew, in the second she had walked out of her room, that there was no convincing her. Throughout dinner, she was obviously making escape plans, leaving me to bear the questions and rants of her parents. She even abruptly left for her room without finishing her dinner, and I quickly ate my dinner as quick as was possible, without looking like a starving savage. It took me atleast 5 minutes to finish it and I hastily smiled and wished her parents a good night before practically running into her room, but to my shock, she was already gone!. I was very confused how she got out of the room without using the front door until my eyes landed on the opened window. Of course. I just hoped nobody caught her with Barrett at this time of the night, well, for me this time of the night wasn't even really night, but for Middle Ages folks this was almost midnight. And I knew that an unmarried couple meeting alone at this time would look really bad on them, probably someone would accost them and tell their parents. Or atleast spoil their reputation, if nothing else.

I was really, really worried when an hour passed and there was no sign of Amelia. She was probably planning her escape with Barrett but there could be so many bad things happening to her too!. I couldn't even take help from anyone. The little witch had deliberately left quickly and left the window and door open so I wouldn't be able to stop her, but know that she was gone. Wait, what if she ran away for good tonight?. She did have crazy eyes when she told me she was going to run away, so who knew?. But would she really leave all her stuff behind and run away, and where?. Barrett wasn't rich enough to buy her a new set of everything. Darn, she had put me in such a tight spot!.  I had no option but to wait and hope she came back, and came back fine.

I was borderline panicking by the time Amelia finally came and opened the window. Relief instantly flooded me and I rushed towards the window. she jumped in with considerable ease and brushed off the dust of her hands. Relief passed and anger set in,

" Amelia, what the hell?. I was worried sick-you just left without telling me where you're going or when you are going to be back, if at all!", I yelled.

Atleast she looked apologetic," Emma, I am so sorry, I was in Rose garden with Barrett and I lost track of time. I rushed back when I realized. Sorry"

I nodded, letting the matter slide," So...", I began," what..did you decide?"

Instantly she beamed and I knew she had good news with the way she was grinning ear to ear,

" Oh, Emma, we are so lucky!. Barrett's got a plan, it took some time to formulate but I think it will work, oh it just has to!. But we better sleep now, Mother or Father can wake up, and we will need our energy tomorrow. I will tell you and Eloise the plan, no point telling Mille, and if Mother drags me to buy new dresses or anything, you can go over the details till I get back."

I started to protest but Amelia put a finger on her lips," No, Emma, I am not telling you anything right now. SLEEP"

I huffed and pouted, as Amelia winked and undressed into her chemise. Sliding into the bed, I gave a slight shrug to myself. We'll just have to see what these lovebirds are upto.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amelia woke me up early in the morning the next day and by early I mean 4 fucking 30 AM, back (or should I say forward?) in my time 7 or 8 was early in the morning not 4!. But here 4 or 4: 30 was only a hour early. She woke me up early to fill me on her 'plan', but she wouldn't spill until I got dressed and went out of the house with her. She followed me like a mother hen all the time between brushing my teeth, showering and getting dressed, hissing :"Hurry Up!"
