Five hours later, my mom walked into my room where I was still sat with my friends.
"I'm going to take some time away, sweetheart. Maybe I'll go to Norway or something - visiting some family."
She seemed nervous.
"Oh, okay."
"You'll be safe here? Your friends can stay too whenever they want."
"Thanks mom. I love you." I hugged her.
"Why are you taking such a small bag if you're going for a long time?" I asked.
"They have wash bots all over the world." She snapped defensively before leaving.
"That was weird." Said Keeley, curiously. I nodded.
"You guys wanna sleep round tonight?" I asked. They all nodded.
"I'm so tired." Liv sighed, and Hana nodded in agreement. Louis walked across my room and opened the closet where all the sleep kits were. He hit the big yellow button and enough beds unfolded for all of my friends.
"Come on, here's the tablets. Choose what food you want and call it up. And Liv? Hit the Home Cinema button."
Liv presses an orange button with the words HC on it and a huge screen came down. We all snuggled up in my bed, cozy, me sat on top of Austin, and then the food sat in front of us across a brown unfolded table.
"Hmm, let's watch this doc on 2018." Keeley said.
"Really? We got attacked by Antitechs today and you want to watch a doc on what they want?" Austin asked, sternly. Keeley went quiet.
After about ten minutes we finally chose to watch a documentary on Star Warriors. As I watched the documentary, I heard a whisper in my ear.
"You'll be one of them some day."
I looked into Austin's icy blue eyes and smiled. He grinned back.
About halfway through the documentary, everyone had fallen asleep, except for me. I heard an odd rustling in the kitchen.
I clapped quietly, turning on the lights. Everybody woke up.
"Listen." I whispered.
"Computer, show the kitchen cameras."
The camera flicked up to reveal two people in black coats with large A's in red on the back.
"Oh my God." Whispered Keeley.
"Computer, take us out of the window, one by one, Keeley first, me last."
The computer gently picked Keeley up, then Liv, Hana and Zeke. Louis was being picked up and carried towards the window when the door slammed open. I screamed as five Antitechs ran into my bedroom.
"NO!" I screamed, as they ran towards Austin. I kicked one in the stomach. Austin yelled out.
"EMILY!" But the computer had already picked him up. He kicked and struggled.
"Computer! Take them all to the hotel on Saviour Lane! Only come back for me when they're safe!" I yelled. I heard angered shouts and my name being called out but I refused to let anyone else die today because of the Antitechs.
"What do you want from me?" I yelled.
Silence. I punched one in the face.
"EMERGENCY COMPUTER! CALL THE CORANIANS!"
I walked towards another one and kicked them. They grabbed my wrists and threw me down.
"STOP!" I yelled, kicking them away. I jumped up and kicked them constantly.
"What do you want from me?" I shouted as I kicked them.
"The master... wants you..." they breathed heavily.
I kicked another one, and he didn't get up this time.
I punched one in the face and shoved another into a cupboard. The last two were easily smacked away. The Coronians ran into my room.
"Are you okay?" One asked, running over to me.
"Yep. A few Antitechs can't hurt me." I winked. The Coronian laughed.
"Hey, you're that girl that I gave the Starrings to this morning!" Cried another one.
"Oh, hey!" I grinned.
"You're seriously badass, girl." He laughed. I laughed too.
"I'm Emily."
"I'm Peter. Maybe we'd make a badass team." He laughed. I laughed again, with him.
I felt two arms come and pick me up.
"Computer! Put me down." I sighed.
The Coranians laughed at me. I laughed with them.
"Thanks, you guys."
"Anytime. Here." Peter handed me a small card. I looked at it. It was covered in small stars.
"When you unlock your potential, you can use this to contact the Star Warriors. This is the secret step that no one knows about and most people fail." He winked. I hugged him.
"Bye, everybody." I smiled, tucking the card into my safe, "Computer? Take me to the others." I smiled. I was carried across the city by the drone built into the computer and dropped through a hotel window.
"EMILY!" Austin yelled, running to me and kissing me passionately.
"Calm down!" I giggled.
"We thought you were dead, you bitch!" Hana screeched, hugging me.
I rolled my eyes.
I ran over to Louis and Zeke and hugged them, because I could see Zeke was comforting Louis. They smiled at me, and then I grabbed one of the chocolate bars that Zeke was about to eat and ran away.
"Hey!" He yelled, running after me. Everyone was in fits of laughter.
Zeke cornered me. I laughed, looking at him in the eye. He went to grab the chocolate bar, and just as he did so, I popped it into my mouth and kicked him in the balls. He screamed and dropped to the floor.
"MAN DOWN!" He cried, dramatically. Everyone was laughing at him now.
"Oh my God. Guys! We're having a memorial ball tomorrow!" Squealed Keeley. Hana burst out laughing at her excitement.
"ZEKEY POO!" Liv yelled.
"Are you drunk?" He asked.
"Maybe." She winked at him, attempting to be seductive, on the edge of the couch. And then she slipped and fell.
Laughter once again filled the room, and we spent the entire night laughing and drinking and eating and hugging. The next morning, I woke up with a small headache so I went into the hotel room's medicine cupboard and found a hangover chocolate. I lay one out for everybody before eating my own and then went to wake them all up.
"Guys. We have to get ready for the dance!" I yelled.
Everyone glared at me, before Liv yelled "WHERE ARE THE HANGOVER CHOCOLATES?!"
"In the kitchen." I laughed.
I plopped down on the couch while everyone took their chocolate and then sighed.
"Let's get ready, guys." I smiled. We girls all went back to mine whilst the boys stayed in the hotel.
Once back at mine, I settled on a pale blue knee length dress with small pink and purple flowers around the hem of the skirt. I tied my hair into a long ponytail and straightened it in the ponytail. Finally, I grabbed some blue stilettos, my Starrings, and the necklace from the street vendor.
"I'm popping out for a moment. I'll be quick." I said quietly to Liv. She nodded, and I slipped out my hover board. I sighed - riding it in stilettos? I'll be fine. I wobbled a bit but flew down to the street vendor from yesterday.
"Morning." I smiled.
"Hi, it's you!" He grinned.
"I'm here to look at some bracelets?" I smiled. He gestured to a large section of the table.
As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one. A sparkling silver bracelet, the exact same as my necklace. I grabbed it.
"This one." I smiled, "how much?"
"Free for you, darling." He smiled.
"Thank you so much." I smiled. Then, I jumped back on my hover board and flew back up.

Liv was now wearing a long silver gown with silver stilettos and a silver chain. Her hair was curled. Keeley was wearing the same but gold. Hana was wearing a purple jumpsuit which hugged her curves and had and had purple stilettos. Her hair was in a curled ponytail and she was wearing a long gold necklace with a star on the end.
"You all look so pretty." I smiled.
I opened my SchoolPad to check for any last minute ball announcements and there was one.
"I have to give a speech." I whispered.
"You can do this." Liv smiled at me encouragingly.
"Short notice much?" Giggled Keeley. I grinned back.
"My speech won't be about him. I refuse." I sighed, "it'll be about new beginnings."
The other girls nodded. And we grabbed our hoverboards and, shakily with our heels, rode to school.
After we arrived, I immediately looked for Austin, Zeke and Louis. Keeley ran off to go and find a boy who she was apparently dating, much to Austin's disgust. I turned Austin around so he couldn't see them and we began to dance. I leaned into him, placing a kiss on his lips, and he twirled me around. And then, they called my name.
"Emily Procarer? Will you come and give your speech?"
I walked slowly up to the podium and sighed at the podium. I sighed.
"H... hello everybody." I said, nervously. As I began to speak, I noticed some concealed movement at the back of the room. I looked closer. Then I continued, thinking I was seeing things.
"We are gathered today to not only mourn, but to celebrate a new beginning for our school."
And then I heard the gunshot.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" I screamed.
I felt a sharp pain in my left shoulder and I dropped to the ground as the popping sounds filled my ears constantly for what felt like hours. When the sound finally died out, I quietly let myself fall asleep.
When I woke up, I heard beeps. I tried to move, but was immediately stopped by Austin's strong arms.
"Guys." I smiled.
"Em!" They cried. I kissed Austin and then hugged the others.
"You got a bullet in your shoulder." Liv said, quietly. I nodded.
"Was anyone else hurt?"
"No, thankfully. But the Antitechs have started a full on civil war.
"You're kidding. How long was I out?" I cried.
"A few days."
I slowly stood up and began to walk to the window, much to my friends's annoyance. I looked out the window to see Antitechs marching the street and arresting anyone not in their black cloaks.
"Oh my God." I screeched.
