[This one-shot is mostly following the lyrics of the song "When We're Together" by Mark Harris. Basically what this will be is a series of small events that Obi-Wan and Satine have when they're together. Enjoy the one-shot! 😁]

Obi-Wan guided the beautiful Duchess Satine onto a yacht that they were borrowing during their stay on Naboo. "Satine...?" Obi-Wan asked. "Yes?" the Duchess's soft, accented voice replied. "The stars are lovely tonight, aren't they?" he asked her.
Satine smiled. "Indeed they are. And with the way they're reflecting onto the water, I feel almost as if I can touch them." Obi-Wan smiled and thought for a moment. "I think I can make that possible..." Obi-Wan said mysteriously.
Satine raised an eyebrow at that. "How exactly are you planning on doing that...?" she asked suspiciously. Obi-Wan gave a mischievous grin. "By doing this, dear Duchess..." Obi-Wan said before pushing the Duchess of Mandalore off the yacht and into the water. He then jumped off and into the water as well, laughing as he soared through the air on his way down.
Both Obi-Wan and Satine's heads popped out from under the water. Satine gave Obi-Wan a glare then started laughing as she splashed the Jedi Knight before her. Obi-Wan laughed as well and started splashing her back.
The Duchess soon stopped and smiled at the Jedi Knight. "Thank you, Obi-Wan..." she started. "You've made this night one of the best." Obi-Wan smiled. "It's always a pleasure just to be with you, Duchess." he said.

"Satine...?" Obi-Wan started. "Obi-Wan... before you say anything... whenever I'm with you, I feel like time lasts forever. Any worries I have seem to fade away and become like memories of the past... and I only feel this way when we're together... does the same thing happen to you, Obi-Wan?" Satine asked.
Obi-Wan kept silent. How could he answer that question without breaking his oath to the Jedi Order? He sighed, gave the Duchess's hand a kiss and left without another word.
[2nd Verse]

Where you and I could spend the day
And I'd love to go where time stands still
And all that doesn't matter fades away

Obi-Wan flew to the palace of the Duchess of Mandalore and walked into the throne room. He watched as the regal Duchess walked out into the room in a simple active-wear outfit.
Obi-Wan smiled as she walked over to him. "Ready for our day out, Master Kenobi?" she asked with a slightly teasing tone. Obi-Wan chuckled. "If Your Grace is ready," Obi-Wan started with a small bow. "Then I am ready." he said, rising again and staring into her eyes.
As he stared into the woman's eyes, it was as if time itself had stopped and stood still for the two of them. Obi-Wan eventually shook his head, took the Duchess's hand and lead her out to a speeder.
"Satine...? I'm glad I'm here with you." he quietly whispered in her ear. Satine smiled and whispered back, "I'm glad you're here with me too."

"Obi-Wan...?" Satine started. "Satine... before you say anything... remember when you asked if I felt the same way you did?" Obi-Wan asked. Satine nodded. "Satine... I feel the same way." he said, taking Satine's hands in his own.
Satine frowned and kept silent. How could he answer that question now? After several years of waiting... She sighed, gave the the Knight a kiss on the cheek and left without another word.

Behold the wonder of the moment as the moment passes by

It was a beautiful day when Satine and Obi-Wan were on Naboo for a parade of the new Nubian Queen. Obi-Wan and Satine decided to take advantage of the beautiful day. The two of them had a picnic while the parade went on in the streets.
Obi-Wan was busy picking at some strands of grass while Satine hummed to the music that was playing, her head in Obi-Wan's lap. Suddenly, Obi-Wan gently removed Satine's head from his lap and stood up with his hand held out to her. "May I have this dance, Duchess?" he asked.
Satine gave him a shy smile, but placed her hand into his. "I'd be honored, Master Kenobi." she said as he pulled to her feet. The two began to laugh as they slow danced, enjoying one of the rare moments they had alone together.

Obi-Wan and Satine ran towards each other and once they were close enough, embraced each other in a big hug. Obi-Wan picked up Satine and spun her around, then put her down and brushed some strands of hair out of her face.
"Satine..." "Obi-Wan..." the two started at the same time. Obi-Wan asked with his eyes the exact same question he asked her months ago. Satine nodded, then did the same. Obi-Wan grinned, then brought the Duchess in for a kiss.
Satine melted into the kiss as her hands proceeded to tangle into the Knight's hair. The kiss felt like it lasted forever, until both of them pulled away for air. "You know something I don't, don't you, Obi...?" Satine asked. "I do know something... that whenever we're together, it feels like forever." Obi-Wan replied before kissing the Duchess once again.
