"CLAUDIA?! IS THAT YOU?!" Victoria yelled from another room.

"NO, MOM! IT'S A BURGLAR WITH THE KEYS TO THE FRONT DOOR!" Claudia yelled back. She went to set down the keys in the key's bowl which was on a small table by the entrance. You could hear Victoria still laughing at what Claudia had yelled back. There was a picture of Claudia's family together. Before her parents had divorced. Suddenly Claudia noticed that not only was her mom's laugh being heard but a familiar male laugh too. Could it be?

"DA-A-AD?!" Claudia was holding the picture frame when she realized it was her dad's laugh. She set the picture down and went to where their laughing was coming from.

"YEAH?" Luis asked really loud knowing she was already on her way looking for them. Claudia found them in the kitchen both sitting by the island in the middle of the kitchen. They had wine in the glasses they had in their hands, there was a plate of cheese in the middle of the island. They didn't look drunk, it looked more like they were just having a late night snack.

"Whatcha doing?" Claudia asked confused.

"We're celebrating!" Victoria explained. That wasn't much of an answer for Claudia.

"Celebrating what?"

"Being divorced for 10 years!" Luis explained. Claudia's face turned from shock then to disappointment. You don't celebrate being divorce! What is wrong with you people?! Being divorce breaks up a family, and you're happy about it?!

"I'm gonna go change into my pjs. Are you staying here tonight?" Claudia asked her dad changing the subject.

"No, I got to get home...I would prefer sleeping in my bed not the couch." When he said that Victoria started laughing.

"Besides, I think we've had enough alcohol for one night!" Luis continued as he saw Victoria still laughing.

"Okay, well then see ya whenever I see ya!" Claudia said as she left the kitchen. As she made her way to the stairs which were by the entrance, passing the picture frame, she started going up the stairs when she felt the need to go back down and put down the picture frame.

Her vision blurried as tears filled her eyes. She almost tripped on the stairs as she went up. She was sad but frustrated, she felt that knot in her throat forming. She tried her best to keep her tears in but failed. They started rolling down her cheeks. As she made it to a wood door she opened it to see a black and white room with purple accents, like purple pillows on the bed, certain picture frames purple.

Claudia could feel her uncontrollable crying coming so she quietly closed the door. Just as she did that she couldn't contain her cry, started sobbing. She jumped on her bed and muffled her sobbing with her pillows. The same thing she had done 11 years ago.

~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~
"We're getting a divorce." Luis said the hard word to little seven year old, Claudia. As always, Claudia stayed quiet. She didn't say anything, which meant she wasn't happy. Luis had learned that from her, if she isn't happy she gives anyone the silent treatment.
"Don't worry, Corazon...you still get to see both of us! Just..not together." Victoria tried her best to not make it as bad as it sounded. Still Claudia said nothing. She had an unreadable look. Not happy but not upset. Just unreadable.
Luis let out a big sigh and shrugged at Victoria. That shrug he always gave her, when even he didn't know what to do.
Claudia was standing at the entrance of her dad's office when she recieved the news. There was another man in a suit sitting on her dad's chair behind his desk as he read all the documents they had to fill out and explained the law and everything that came with getting a divorce.
