Waking up from chatting. I sat up on the couch chair and saw the doctors were in here. I grabbed my phone and saw I had a missed call from T moms, I put it back down.
"Uhh, may I speak with you..?..." The nurse say.
I got up and headin where she was at.
"I'm Jaliyah." I said.
"Well, nice to meet you Jaliyah. I'm nurse Montgomery." She said.
I nodded my head, letting her talk.
"Ms.Pettway is still healing, it might take 2 or 3 weeks but if we see she doing better she can go home. She's talking but not dat much.We just gave her some medicine for the back pain and I'll go get her some breakfast."
"Okay, thank you so much."
She headed out the door and closed the door.
I was happy that she was talking. I sat back down and looked over at her and smiled. She smiled back.
I decided to call Ms.Taneka back since I missed her call.
*The phone convo*
Me-Hey, sorry I missed your call.
Her- It's ok. How she doing?
Me-Shes fine. She talkin' but not much. The doctor said she doin well it may take 2 or 3 weeks, if she doing well then she can go home.
Her-Okay, that's fine. I have her phone and 2 guys called and said they finna come and see her.
Me-Um...Okay. Call you later.
Her-Ok. Bye boo.
*Hangs up the phone*
2 guys? I thought to myself. That's weird , I hope it's not nobody trynna kill her or something.
"Babe?" I tried to get her attention.
"Hm?"
"Your moms said 2 guys finna come see you. You have any idea who that could be?"
She shooked her head no. "No."
I nodded my head. I laid back watching tv and scrolling thru' my phone. I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I say.
The door opened and it was that same lightskin boy from my Job I met....Chaz. Thinking to myself...This is crazy.
He walked in and had flowers and balloons and a get well soon card. He sat it down.
"Um...So we meet again? Crazy huh?" I asked him.
He turned around. "Ohh'shit. Wassup? What you doing here?"
"Hey Chaz." T spoke to him, trynna talk.
He walked over there to her."Wassup? How you feelin' Babygirl?" He asked her.
When he said Babygirl, I almost choked on my lemonade. Wtf? They have going on?
"Fine, healing." She said.
"That's great. You mind me asking who did this to you?"
The door opened before she could answer. It was Trevon *🙄*. He had a card and balloons. He sat it down.
"Sup y'all? Sup Shawty, you good?" He asked T.
She nodded her head. "Yes."
"Yo why this nigga here?" Trevon asked , pointing to Chaz.
"Boy don't come up and here and trynna start shit when you see she in the hospital bed." I told him.
"Whatever ight." He sat down.
