Chapter 2: That 'Dream Dress'

Alexa’s POV:

‘Roxy, What the f***, your taking the piss and the cab driver is shouting at me!’ I screamed at Roxy down the phone as I tapped my foot against the concrete slab beneath her huge front door.

‘I’m coming, I’m coming, f***, someone forget to wear the right bra today.’ Roxy huffed; I smiled at how she always made me smirk when she was pissing me off, that’s what I loved about her daftness. How imperfectly perfect her comebacks can be…

‘Get in then, you were the one hurrying me up and now look at you, gazing at me like I’m eye candy’

‘Maybe you are…’ I said trying not to burst out laughing at how sour Roxy’s face was.

‘Oh Holy Mother of Jesus, you never told me you were lesbian!’ she gasped (my mate gave me this idea and it was too funny so I had to add it in my story!), and whilst she did, I was clutching my sides laughing, hysterically, at how gullible my sadistic friend was. I sat into the cab and dragged Roxy in, as Skylar and Brittany looked at us angrily, it took Roxy’s ass 5 mins to get out of the house, plus 5 mins for our discussion, oops?

‘So where are we going?’ I asked as I straightened out my red denim jeans and fixed my blonde hair,

‘Were going to Destiny USA, as its rumored that hot guy is gonna be there!’ Skylar said dreamily

‘Oh get real, one new guy is nothing there’s over 25 hot guys in our school already, its gonna be another added that’s all.’ I added, uninterested.

Skylar’s POV:

After hours of looking, we all found our dresses in Forever 21, obviously, I loved everyone’s dresses, especially mine, but Alexa’s dress, by far was much sexier than everyone else’s.

‘How do I look?’ Alexa asked, giving a twirl in front of the mirror. I looked at her in awe of how beautiful her slightly tanned body looked fitted into that dress, it complimented all of her curves and I’m sure all the guys would be drooling over her. What? It’s what she was born to do. Be sexy.

‘Well…’ She says, getting slightly impatient and agitated at how long it was taking for me to process how amazing she looked.

‘It.Looks.Great!’ I finished talking yet another glance at her.

‘Why thank you, very truthful friend.’ Alexa said, bowing in front of me. I giggled.

‘Well, stop drooling guys, all of our dresses are cute’ Brittany chirped

‘Yeah, let’s go to the till because we are so buying all of these dresses!’ Roxy said, excited as usual. Alexa gave her a ‘duh’ look in return and I joined her.

We walked to the till which had a small queue and lined up near to the accessories, the girls picked out a few and placed them in the basket, not even checking the price tag, I mean, who needs to check it? I don’t mean to brag, but were all filthy rich, so we were spoilt brats, and we love it.

The till girl looked at us and smiled, it had to be her, Tina McCann, she’s like, the last virgin in the whole school and the last friend anyone would want, but that didn’t make her ugly, she was alright looking, nothing special, Just brown tousled her and hazel eyes. Standard. I smiled sickly sweetly and she didn’t get the hint, so Roxy scowled and Tina gulped, quickly scanning the items and placing them dust-free into the Bag.

‘$1,089.59, Please’ Tina said in a small voice, Alexa handed her the cash and gave Tina a $5.00 tip. Tina smiled like she had won the lottery and did a mini victory dance as we walked away, me watching he and as she realized, I stuck my tongue out at her and she smiled uncertainly, me turning back to my best friends and linking arms as we walked out of the Forever 21, sashaying as we went.

Cody’s POV:

‘Cody, Darling, were going shopping with the Carlton’s’

‘Who are they’ I replied

‘Our new nieghours, they live I the mansion across from us’

‘Okay’ was all I said, why do people get so excited about shopping?

I walked downstairs slowly, fixing the hem of my buttoned up shirt, which was a bit tight for me. I walked out of the front door, carelessly, grabbing an apple as I went. The chauffeur held the door to the range rover open and I mumbled a ‘thanks’ and waved him away. I sat into the car and took my phone out, playing ‘Subway Surfers’ for  few minutes before my mum,  Veronica, came and sat into the front seat.

‘Cody, darling, can you sit in the front? We have to make space for the Carlton’s, they were going to bring their own cars but I insisted they come with us so come on.’

 I slightly huffed sat up from my seat and climbed into the front seat; I couldn’t be bothered opening the door and sitting into the front respectfully. The door opened and in came a woman, middle aged, with blonde hair and blue eyes, she had high cheekbones and a man came behind her, with short ruffly brown hair and a little girl, about 2 years old crawled in with curly brown hair an giggled as she saw me.

‘Heyoooo (Hello), my names Lea, and I’m free (three), how old are you?’ she asked pointing to me.

‘I’m Cody and I’m 17’ I said smiling at her. She sat into the seat, satisfied and mumbled something, I think it was something along the lines of ‘You look good for my sister’ but I didn’t get it. She was an only child, right?

Hey, guys, it’s me, I’m updating every other day, if I can but may not as I am only using computer, when I get my tablet (in September) I will be updating a lot more, so how do like my book so far, eh, if you’ve read this, then you’re a babe, coz ive got very less reads on this book even though this book is meant to be much better than my other ‘Hate’, stay tuned for more as I will update very soon and please if u can, make me a cover or can someone give me a review or story advise coz this book is nowhere near as popular as I would like it, so could you perhaps, add it to your reading list, comment, let ur friends know about it and maybe follow or pm, or please vote for me as I would be very thrilled. btw, ill explain thier dresses in next chapter, cudnt be botherd to in this one, sorry! This is only the begginging of this book and only the beginning as I have this whole books plot, which is very dramatic and filled with lies, tears and love and the sequel but im going to drag it as it will be a bit boring if I don’t, so this book will be something long and fun, a bit like ‘Mr Popular & I’ but nothing has been copied from there, I have only been inspired, sorry gtta go, Luv U My Lovelies! Xxxxx
