It was Friday. Carson still wasn't at school. James had kept on telling me that he hadn't talked to her for days and went around to her house multiple times but she was still apparently sick. I knew she wasn't. Carson, was hiding. And I wanted to know why.

"I made you cookies." Hazel smiled as she brings out a container.

"Sweet." I reply giving her a kiss on the cheek. "They look good."

"Hopefully." Hazel chuckles. "Also, you know your friend Carson?"

I stopped what I was doing and I stare her in the eye.

"Yes."

"She ran away." Hazel stared. "Didn't you hear?"

"She what?"

Hazel looked very uncomfortable and shrugged. "She ran away on Saturday night."

"No she didn't." I laugh. "She's sick."

She shook her head. "She ran away, E."

I look down the hall and I see James standing with Sage and all the others. I drop my books and I walk over him.

"Did you know about this?" I ask.

"Dolan, what's up?"

I grab him by the collar and I pin him up against the lockers.

"Did you fucking know about this!?"

James shakes his head. "No I didn't. I swear, I only just found out this morning."

"Where is she!" I yell.

"I don't know!"

Tears fell from my eyes and onto the ground. I feel a hand on my arm.

"E, stop, please." Hazel cried.

I push James away from me and I grab my board before I leave the school. When I get to the front I hop off my board. I pace back and forth with my hands through my hair. I pick up my board and I smash is repeatedly on a tree. I throw the remains on the ground and I leave up the street.
