Hey guys! I'm terribly sorry I haven't been updating as much as I'd like to and how my writing had been a bit rushed lately!
These past fees weeks has been pretty rough for me. My family is looking to buy a dog (for the first time) and we are looking everywhere. We looked at nearby shelters and found one in Seattle that was a cute little place.
We were looking at options and I was flipping through the pages of pictures and descriptions. I flipped to the page with a small puppy and I instantly fell in love.
His name was Mork and he was a German Shepherd mix. He was almost fully black except for his paws and his ear overlapped each other like a little hat. I could not be more in love with a dog.
We set an appointment for a meet and greet and we met him. Oh my gosh he was the cutest and sweetest little bean! Here's a picture with me and him. (Yes he is chewing on my leg because why not)

My family hesitated but soon fell in love too. They all agreed that I would be the one to mainly take after him and he would be called my dog.
"You can't take him home today"
Im sorry... WHAT?! Okay whatever I guess this is how adoption works at rescues! I'll deal with it!
We were told we were going to get him a few days later. We got home and relaxed.
Next day, we were about to get stuff for the dog..... when suddenly my mom got a call.
"We look at your background and found that your cat has not had her recent vaccinations"

Okay that delayed everything but no worries, we got her shots and she was a good bean the entire time. (Everyone in the vet loved her, I mean who wouldn't love this face?

Anyways. We got her shots and we told the rescue,
"Aight we got her shots, can we get the dog now?" (We didn't actually say that XD)
"Sure we'll give you the dog on Thursday"
Cool! So we got all the shiz we would need, food, food bowl, treats, toys, bed. Heck, we even cleaned the entire house to make sure everything was safe for the dog.
Then, it was the day! I woke up around 9 and the dog was coming around 3. I was so excited I was bouncing off the walls!
My mom got a call and I assumed it was to tell us they were on their way with the dog and stuff. My mom got off the phone and she walked into the living room (where my brother and I were)
She sat down next to us as we were watching TV.
"We can't get the dog"

Are you... fucking... KIDDING ME?!?!
I just snapped,
"WHY?!"
"They said that he is very hyper and they don't believe we are ready to own a dog yet"
My mom explained.
WHO ARE THEY TO TELL US WHEN WE ARE READY TO OWN A DOG?!?! IF ANYTHING GETTING A PUPPY FOR YOUR FIRST DOG IS A BETTER IDEA SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WORK AND AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
So yeah.... my brother and my mom are looking for other dogs. My dad doesn't care as long as it isn't the size of a horse. Me?..... I was heart broken, still am but not as bad.
I know that they didn't love that dog as much as I did but I guess it's for the best that they pick the dog and I just go along with it. I don't want to get too attached until we actually get the dog.
So yeah that's how my week went... sorry for ranting...... I don't want to be that one author that just whines about everything that happens and how their life is terrible.
My life is going pretty good otherwise.
ALSO!! I feel this book is going to be incredibly long and no one will want to read 100+ chapters! So! I'm going to make a second book!!!!
