They were all at the dining table, eating breakfast. It was a day before the gala and needless to say, Iligah was excited to attend a gala with her girlfriend.

"So, mum, what's the gala for?" Iligah asked.

"Well, since we've already done numerous charities for different causes, I think that we should do something new that other companies haven't thought of," Ailee said.

"What's the agenda?" Alden asked.

"The gay agenda," Ailee said.

Iligah choked and her drink and Alden widened his eyes.

"Now, Iligah, I know you were used to being in the closet for so long so you can be as gay as you want," Ailee said.

"Great," Iligah said.

"What if there are homophobes," Alden asked in concern for.

"Well, their lost if they ever show an attitude, this was approved by the board, so if they snap, they're not going to have a good reputation," Ailee said

"Oh," Iligah said. "Well, Yuuki and I have to go shopping again, want to come along, brother?"

"Depends, what are you going to do?" Alden asked.

Iligah whispered something in Alden's ear.

"What is it?" Ailee curiously asked.

"Don't worry, mother," Iligah said. "I'll be one of the most iconic people there,"

"One of them?" Ailee asked.

"I'm being humble," Iligah said then smiled. "So, what do you say, brother? Game?"

Alden nodded. "I'm down for it,"

"I knew you be." Iligah replied. "I always know who you're down for-"

Alden choked.

"Sorry, I meant, what you're down for," Iligah corrected herself as if it was an accident. She brushed it off like it was nothing and continued to eat her breakfast.

--------------

"This idea is amazing!" Yuuki exclaimed whilst the three of them were out, going to the store.

"Well, you know my sister," Alden said. "She gets it from me,"

"Oh really? What did I get?" Iligah asked. "Not being straight?"

The three laughed. "Maybe," Alden winked.

They were now done with the planning and paying, so they went to another store to buy more things. They strolled around, picking and buying things that will fit with their outfits. They wanted to become the most iconic people in the gala. Alden was going around the shop, just looking for something he can buy as a gift.

"Hey, should I buy this for Vi?" Alden asked who he thought was Iligah. He had his eyes on the object.

"Maybe he'll like it," Someone said to Alden, wrapping his arm around him.

Alden was alarmed and turned around.

Vince.

"Hey," Vince smiled.

"Hi," Alden said. "What are you doing here?"

"Didn't you get a text from your mum?" Vince asked.

"Uh.." Alden took out his phone and saw that he actually had a text.

'The Asuncion boy is going to be with you while shopping, Iligah told me that you all are making an upgrade but I'm not sure what but they said he has to go with you to have the same upgrade x'

"Oh, did Iligah take you?" Alden asked, putting his phone back in his pocket.

Vince shook his head. "No,"

"Oh, I can ask her to take yo-"

"Actually, can you take me there?"  Vince asked.

"Oh," Alden said. "Yeah sure,"

"Okay," Vince said, holding out his hand. "Shall we?"

"We shall, but we're in public so I can't hold your hand," Alden said, walking out of the store.

--------------

They went in and told the designer the same thing, Vince had to go through the fitting and then he has to pick out a suit.

Alden was watching through the whole thing. There was one employee who was a bit too flirtatious.

"So, which event are you going to, Vince?" The woman asked.

"You uh, know my name?" Vince asked.

"Yeah, you're Vince Asuncion, everyone knows you," The woman said, getting a bit touchy.

Alden rolled his eyes and quietly scoffed.

"Oh, really?" Vince replied.

"Yeah," She said, trying to bite her lip.

'Ew.' Alden cringed.

"So, where are you off to?" She asked Vince.

"I'm off to a gala," Vince said.

"Really?" She said. "Do you have a plus one?"

 'Oh wow,' Alden thought.

"Oh, uh," Vince said, nervously as he doesn't have a plus one.

"Can I be your plus one?" She 'seductively' asked.

Alden rolled his eyes.

"Actually," Alden butted in. "I'm his plus one,"

Vince was a bit relieved.

The girl was stunned. "Yeah right, Vince doesn't look gay,"

"Well, not right now," Vince said. "And I'm not gay, I'm bisexual,"

"Same thing, you're just half gay," The girl said.

The two were now getting offended.

"And you're fully ignorant," Alden retorted.

"Isn't it true? He likes both women and men meaning he's half gay," she said.

"No, he likes both women and men but he prefers men more," Alden said.

"Well, it's you talking," she said. "Let Vince talk,"

"Alright," Alden was smug. "Vince?"

Vince smirked. "He's right, I like men more,"

The girl was just stunned. She just left, she was done with her job before she talked to Vince anyway.

Another employee walked in. "I'm sorry you had to experience that, she's not someone we like here,"

Alden and Vince laughed.

"We can see why," Alden said.

He laughed. "Yeah,"

"Well, I'll just get the adjustments before she messes it up," The employee said. "Nice to meet you two,"

"Nice to meet you as well," They both said.

"I'll bring in the suits," The employee nodded and left.

The other employees rolled in some suits that Vince could wear.

"We'll take it from here, thank you," Vince said.

The employees complied and left.

Vince was picking a tux that would suit him and the upgrade. He picked one and tried it on.

"Hey, Salcedo, why don't you help me with the suit?" Vince winked.

Alden blushed. "Sure thing, Asuncion,"

Vince smiled, Alden and Vince went to a far off fitting room and closed it.
